Our time at Joanne’s place was perfect. There were lots to do with the kids. The chalet was very clean and had everything we needed. Thankyou so much.

The view was fantastic, and the garden was sheltered; you could sit in the sun. The coastal path runs just behind it, so you can walk, but the vegetation hardly lets you know when people are coming. The pub within walking distance had great food, so if you don't want to go out for a day there are great options nearby. All in all, definitely worth repeating!

What a beautiful place, so peaceful and the lodge was so cute. Ian met us on arrival and showed us around and told us all the info we needed, he also gave us freshly baked scones which was such a lovely touch. Just outside the lodge there was so much space for our daughter's to play and ride around on some bikes borrowed from the farm. The location was ideal and not too far from a town or a day on the beach. We will definitely be returning as we've had the most lovely holiday and actually feel we relaxed being in such a quiet, picturesque spot.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this forest chalet. The location is incredibly serene—nestled among trees with a stunning view of the sea, it truly felt like a peaceful escape from the stress of everyday life. The chalet itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It’s the perfect place to relax, read, or take quiet walks in nature. The host was also very responsive and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth and comfortable from start to finish. The Duck House was a very quaint accommodation in lovely surroundings. Set within the grounds of Jo’s house, but felt very private with its own enclosed, sizeable garden, and direct access to a heated pool in a poly tunnel. The Duck House itself is a converted, well, duck house. It has all you could need for a family who are not looking for a 5* all mod con experience. It had an ample kitchen, lots of fridge and freezer space, two bedrooms both of which were perfect. The master bedroom was very plush and a super comfy bed. The kids bedroom was well sized for 2. It was generally clean to a good standard, there were lots of small spiders to remove for the squeamish, but only the lanky harmless looking ones. Nothing more than you’d expect from such a location. The pool was such an unusual bonus, heated to 30deg and well tended by Jo. Jo and doggy Ruby were super welcoming, and really made us feel at ease. A thoroughly enjoyable, quiet and relaxing stay. Our two dogs loved it!

Really good and peaceful stay at Phil&Sue’s place. Used it as a comfortable base for the weekend stay while doing a course on the water and worked very well. It felt cosy and homely, everything was very clean and well presented and is clearly a loved property. Easy parking and on bus route into Dartmouth which was very useful with supermarkets 2minutes drive. We would recommend it and use it again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. The area is lovely and it was very peaceful - just the calming sound of the waves nearby. With 3 beautiful beaches, each with their own character, within a few minutes' walk, it was so easy to explore without necessarily travelling much. We really enjoyed staying in the chalet - it had everything we needed and our holiday was a joy.

Everything was perfect. This is a beautiful place. The views are outstanding. We were very comfortable here and had everything we wanted. The bed was so comfy, plenty of hot water, tv, WiFi and phone reception was perfect. We would like to return. Thank you Heather

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

It was so lovely to arrive ,open the door and be wowed by the place , it was comfortable and clean and Susanne had left some nice treatsfor us .she was available to contact for any questions and very friendly ,i would definately recomend her

Beautiful spot overlooking the beach. Easy to find and check in. Comfortable and clean with all the essentials and a nice welcome pack with breakfast stuff. Lovely beer garden at pub up the road and some excellent restaurants a short drive away. Highly recommend for a quiet, peaceful escape!

Wow! What an amazing place this is - it’s even more beautiful than the pictures! Jo and David are wonderful hosts, David even met us at the car park and helped up carry our bags down to the property. Great communication from Jo before we arrived with really clear instructions, super flexible with arrival time. We had the most wonderful weekend and will absolutely be back, can’t fault it, absolutely no negatives.

Firstly, we would like to thank Ben and his wonderful family for hosting us, they are fantastic hosts, very friendly and flexible. I organised to take my husband to this beautiful space as a belated birthday present. The accommodation and environment exceeded our expectations, it's stunning!
