Excellent place, very beautiful house and excellent views.

What to say about this place, it's so quiet and so beautiful. I felt so relaxed these days, in addition to the area that is very quiet and full of nature. Nel se porto super linda and accessible xon us all the time, plus its coffee harvest is excellent. In case of traveling to Nicaragua again, we will not last to return to this place ❤️✨️

Can't say enough about Casa Margarita. It was a wonderful trip, made even better by a communicative, helpful, engaged owner. I'm hesitant to write such a glowing review because I want it to be available when I return to Guasacate next year! It would be a fool's errand to try to encompass my thoughts, as I'd leave something important out, but it's a safe bet that you'll enjoy your stay at Casa Margarita. I'll certainly be back soon.

Another wonderful stay at Studio 56. This was our second stay and we plan on returning. Great apartment and great hosts. We look forward to returning soon.

Great place! Spent it with our family and it was extremely nice to have someone on sight to help with any questions. Definitely recommend a 4 by 4 car finding it was easy but the road is not completely paved but totally worth it. View was beautiful.

This place was a true gem! It was amazing to be part of the hotel for security, help from front desk workers and breakfast to order each day, but as it was a little removed from the hotel, it was quiet, private and spacious. The beautiful yard/ pool area is just as (if not more beautiful than) it appears in pics and you can hear birds at all times of the day. In terms of location, it was about 15 min walk to the town center where majority of restaurants and cafes are located. Great nail/ beauty salon called Calma about 10 min walk away. Note we did not have hot water

Carrie was extremely proactive and responsive in helpful finalizing the reservation after I made some mistakes. She and the caretakers also accommodated our late check-in, still assisting and showing the place so we could get settled quickly. The place was as described and the photos accurately represented what we received. All the rooms were clean and prepped well for our arrival. We also took advantage of some extra cooking services provided by the catchers. They accommodated our requests and we were blown away by the food and service!

We loved our stay here - it has a beautiful yard and probably one of the best views on the whole Island. George (the property dog) was a huge hit and made us feel right at home as he was waiting for us with a wagging tail upon arrival. Jenny, the property manager, was extremely helpful and provided us some great local recommendations. I will look to stay here again when returning to Ometepe!

Big Drop Surf House is ideally located a short walk to Playa Maderas. Well equipped and comfortable, staying here you will feel part of the Maderas community. Gaby is a very responsive and resourceful host. The local restaurants/beach bars are great, close, and have delicious food.

Excellent stay. Premises and surroundings are exactly as described. Apartment is well furnished with the comforts of home and the property manager (office two minutes away) responds immediately. I've paid twice as much for a fraction of the amenities. They even provide beach towels! Exceptional value for the money and perfect for long stays. The host provides an awesome detailed info package about the apartment, town and activities. Uber safe building with a system of locking doors and gates. I was able to keep A/C costs low by opening up the windows and doors every morning to take advantage of the constant breezes. Location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance, including hiking trails and access to all points north, south and east. Food is inexpensive with an abundance of street food vendors. The town has something for everyone and at this time of year is busy as Easter is next week. SJDS undergoes a total transformation that is interesting to see.

Milena was a great host, her place is very nice and is located in a great area near bus stops, places to eat and stores. I would definitely stay at her place if I ever go to Nicaragua again.

Very nice place to stay and work. The internet was great the whole time I was there with no lapses in service. The kitchen was fairly well stocked for an Airbnb kitchen. The host was very kind and responsive. A cleaning was offered halfway through my stay which wasn’t needed, but was a nice offer. The unit was equipped with fans, but you can also use the AC for $6/night which they were clear about prior to booking and just after booking. Some ants and geckos around, but that’s nothing new for the tropics.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is nearby many restaurants both local and chain. Malls, shopping, and other attractions are close as well. The space was well designed and very comfortable. Angela was a great host, very communicative and had great suggestions for food. No problems with parking, entry into the house, or wifi.

The space is small but you have everything you will need. The location is great, you’re far enough from the town center that you don’t get all the noise but just a couple of minute drive to everything. We were able to check in and check out earlier and communication was fantastic. Would love to stay again!

Although we didn’t stay at Martha’s due to an unfortunate change of plans not allowing us to cross into Nicaragua from Costa Rica - she was very accommodating and understood that we may need to rebook. She was quick to reply and very kind - I will stay here once we make it into Nicaragua.

I loved my stay the place is great. The balcony gives a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset is breathtaking. The spot is perfect for surfing and enjoying the beach and pool to the fullest. To get to the village it is best to rent a small bicycle, motorbike or golf kart! For sure, I'll be back next year!

Maria’s place was amazing, the view of San Juan del Sur bay was absolutely beautiful! She was incredibly communicative and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and well-informed. We especially appreciated her guidance on electricity use, which helped us stay within the daily budget, very helpful given how energy costs work locally. Her recommendations for places to visit were spot on, and she was always ready to help. Thank you, Maria, for being such a thoughtful and welcoming host!

The location is ideal and the security and staff are very friendly and helpful. Only mistake and it was on my part it’s that I picked an upstairs apartment and it made it difficult with our heels but that was totally me. The pool looked just so good and I love how close everything is, 100% recommend

The accommodation was in perfect condition, very comfortable, just steps from the beach, the owners are very friendly and respond very quickly to any questions. To take into account in the future, in the complex there is only 1 pool for the 3 apartments, the owners live right there, and although a car can enter from the street, it is better to arrive with a high car. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant.

Uri was a huge help, great manager. Always got us what we needed then and there. Juan Pablo was great as well, always answered any questions immediately and made our stay super easy. Nice kitchen and everything you need for a long term stay. Walking distance to the beach, both grocery stores and Dog Town. Already planning our next trip back!
