Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Great Lothian Regional Transport (LRT) buses nearby as well. A lovely 20 minute walk into Portobello for loads of bars and restaurants plus the bonus of being right next to the beach. About 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful golf courses in Scotland.

Our spacious flat is between the bustling Portobello high street and the beach. Portobello is a mini village in Edinburgh. We are next to lovely cafes, bakeries, bars, independent shops and restaurants, and there are excellent transport links to get into the centre of Edinburgh in 30 minutes. We are a 2 minute walk from the beach. The home is fully equipped to host up to 6 people. license number EH-83085-N
