Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Nantucket Island

I would highly recommend Jennifer’s home to anyone visiting Nantucket!! The location is truly second to none—just a short walk from the ferry, restaurants, and the shops downtown, with stunning views of the ocean and harbor, and directly across the street from a great beach. The house was very clean, and came with plenty of toiletries and towels. Jennifer was an excellent host, communicating clearly and kindly throughout our stay. It was a truly unforgettable experience!

Unfortunately I cant fairly judge Nantucket in general as the weather was absolutely awful the whole week (a May nor’easter!). But Janet did her best to make it better and we did enjoy her place. She was very responsive and attentive and even gave us a free night at the end to make up for the weather. Recommend! Thank you.

Wonderful stay! While cozy, the unit is larger and even more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. There was a lovely spot beneath the stairs for a pack and play for our baby (that isn’t shown in pictures). The unit was spotless and felt extremely clean. Having access to a washer and dryer was extremely helpful given the beach trips and having a baby. The best part was how walkable the apartment was from town. If you are new to the area it is absolutely worth spending extra (although Kate’s prices are quite reasonable!) to be a walkable distance from town. She had comfortable beach chairs, a cooler, and umbrella available as well as beach towels. Kate was a fantastic host, responsive, and wonderful with our young daughter. We would 100% stay again!

Loved staying in this house! It's a very charming older house with incredible vibes, just an easy jaunt to Jetties. We will absolutely be trying to stay here in the future.

My family and I had the pleasure of spending the weekend at Taylor’s air bnb, and it was perfect! Great amount of space, beautiful and in a great location. Additionally, Taylor was extremely responsive to any questions we had and provided recommendations and clear instructions. My family and I are already planning on booking this place again for next year!

Rachael’s apartment is a perfect, conveniently located home base for a stay in Nantucket. The space is spotless and all of the furniture and amenities appear to be new. You are walking distance from Cisco Brewery, Miacomet Golf Course and Bartlett Farms. And Racheal is an extremely friendly and helpful host. Can’t go wrong!

The whole family was super kind and friendly! Everything was to our liking and I am hopeful to return someday with my husband and kids! Home was well stocked in the welcome basket was a nice touch.

The loft space was perfect for me. Nicely appointed, perfectly clean, comfortable and in an ideal location. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The loft was perfectly appointed and peaceful. I enjoyed having a food truck available for an afternoon taco and I could also shop for basics at seafood store. I loved my experience!

This was our first time on the island but we will definitely go back! The studio was was well equipped, walkable to town and very welcoming! The coffee shop next door is great too!

Lauren and Nick's place was the perfect spot for a long weekend on Nantucket! Easy to walk to town (take the path through Lily Pond Park!), parking spot for a rental car, private and quiet with plenty of space to relax inside and out. We loved it!

Great location! Close to downtown. Free parking for one vehicle. Chic interior and exterior—scandi style and clean aesthetic! Angela was great to collaborate with about where to go with our pup, too. Overall awesome place and lovely host!

This property is located conveniently, an easy walk to shops, restaurants, the harbor, etc. The place is comfortable and the bed was great. The parking place is a huge plus.

Perfect stay and beautiful room. Even had a mini fridge and kurig. Jonathan was a great host who left me batteries when I requested them for the tv remote! Would definitely stay again, thanks so much.

Phyllis was a great host. Communicated very well and was super responsive. The space was just like the photos. Very generous offerings of snacks, drinks and coffee. Short walk to a bus stop with 2 different routes that go downtown. We’ll check for availability next time we are on the island!

This was a great getaway. Very easy accommodations with everything you need and you can't beat the location - walk to town and beaches. Faith was very communicative and good host. I can't recommend enough!!!!

This was an ideal place to stay during our visit to Nantucket. It was in easy walking distance to downtown and Chris gave us numerous recommendations of places to go that were excellent (be sure to go to the Whaling Museum!). Chris was extremely responsive when we had a couple questions after arrival. I highly recommend this condo!

Marshall is a great host and made our stay in Nantucket a wonderful time. He was very helpful in recommending local companies to rent baby supplies from (e.g., stroller, pack n play), which made traveling much easier and less stressful! The condo is in a great location on Orange Street, about a 10 minute walk to Main Street and downtown Nantucket. The bedrooms were both downstairs and the living room and kitchen were upstairs - this is great for traveling with kids because we weren’t constantly worried about waking up our daughter. Overall, a great stay and we will definitely try to rent this place again for our next Nantucket trip.

Great location! Quiet, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!
