Romantic and stylish retreat

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Enjoyed our stay at Lily’s place… very compact and bathroom was spotless.. adequate kitchen area… underfloor heating… nicely decorated… close to road and noise of fast traffic at times….only downside would be that you can’t let your dog off lead from front door.. but would highly recommend. 👍

A wooden staircase with warm-toned steps leads upward in a softly lit hallway. A floor lamp with a gray shade stands beside the steps, illuminating the space. Two framed pictures are mounted on the white wall, adding a touch of art to the area.

Cosy cottage in historic Penryn with parking.

AoibhinRating, 5 stars3 days ago
What a beautiful little cottage in a great location! Penryn itself is very pretty and historic, but it was also a great location for visiting the Sea Shanty Festival in Falmouth- a picturesque 45min walk along the coast, or handy to train and bus stops. The cottage had everything we needed for a few nights. (Although preparing food was a bit of a challenge as the kitchen is extremely compact!) But this wasn’t a problem as there are lots of good places to eat. We would recommend Muddy Beach and Thirsty Scholar. The cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The added bonus of a parking space just around the corner was fantastic as it is difficult to find a property with its own parking space. Sharon was great- always quick to reply to my messages, checking to make sure we had arrived okay and that we had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend Sharon’s property on Helston Road as a great place to stay if you are visiting the area.

The Tiny House.

JillRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The Tiny House (actually called Lavender's Blue on the house name plate) is a cosy, well-equipped, two-storey apartment built onto the side of Susan's home. It is in a quiet residential area about 5 minutes from Penmere station and similar distance to local bus-stops. It is a 10 minute walk to town and beaches, all downhill. Longer coming back up hill or get a bus; no. 67 was a good one for Swanpool beach and the town. The apartment is finished to a very high spec with bespoke oak wood work surfaces and a double Belfast sink. The kitchen had everything you might need including tea, coffee and milk, which was appreciated. In case you need it, there was no freezer or freezer compartment in fridge. The bathroom had a lovely waterfall shower and cruelty-free toiletries (big tick). Some water did spill onto the floor, however, as there is no shower door. The bed was very comfy. We loved our stay here and would thoroughly recommend staying here when visiting Falmouth.

A wonderful spot in beautiful Falmouth, easy walk to the town centre and the cottage was exactly what we needed, clean, tidy and very easy to find. Marcus is a fantastic host with brilliant communication right from the time of booking to checking out at the end. Very big thank you to Marcus and Genie for a brilliant stay! 😊

Pancake Cottage, Mylor Bridge, Falmouth TR11 5NA

The cottage is well appointed the kitchen having everything you need. The bed is really comfy and bedding luxurious. We enjoyed our breakfast in the sunny courtyard. Although the cottage is situated in the middle of the village, it was very peaceful at night and we were able to have a good nights sleep. Lots of lovely creek side/countryside walks from the door. Would definitely recommend. The Lemon Arms in Mylor Bridge does great reasonably priced food. Would definitely recommend.

Mariners Mirror

We stayed at Zoe's place for three nights as part of a road trip around Devon and Cornwall. The instructions on how to get to the apartment, car parking and gaining entry were first class and check in went smoothly. The apartment is lovely and the view absolutely stunning, looking out over the estuary. Everything was as described and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there was everything we needed in the apartment. Falmouth is a great town with lots of shops and restaurants easily within walking distance. It's also a good base to travel to other areas of Cornwall. Zoe was a great host and on the odd occasion we had to communicate she was very responsive. Would not hesitate to recommend this property.

The Nook, Falmouth

JacquelineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Della went out of her way to respond to any queries and put us at our ease right away. The accommodation suited us perfectly and Della made sure that the dogs were welcome and provided covers for the sofa and bed in case they decided to sleep there instead of on the floor on their beds. Everything has been well thought out and there was nothing missing even down to spare beach towels, bath robes, Foxes chocolate biscuits and posh crisps! I am sure that if there had been something we wanted, Della would have made sure it was there for us! We have family in Falmouth and if we can’t stay with them, I know we shall be back!
