Charming Country Cottage with Private Gardens

StellaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
One of the best air bnbs we have stayed at. Spotlessly clean, well presented, great guide both at the house and online prepared by Carol. Great base to drive and explore the surrounding areas such as St Andrews, Crail etc. 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to Pitlessie Inn which we enjoyed for some drinks in their beer garden. Would recommend and would love to come back!

The Roondie

ReannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Going to Scotland was the first “big” trip my partner and I took together, so you can imagine how stressful that can be. While being in a foreign country can be hard to navigate, The Cottages’s made it super simple to get there after a long travel day. We were greeted with not only some beautiful scenery, but also some of the best living quarters we’ve stayed at. The cottages were clean, homey, and filled with all the amenities you could need. It is in an ideal location where the stars shine bright, the nearby towns made you feel like a local, and some peace and quiet. We made so many great memories on our trip, and our time at The Cottages played an important part in that.
A white ceramic container labeled 'Tea' is placed on a countertop, accompanied by two delicate cups featuring blue floral patterns. Behind them, a framed black and white photograph of a street scene adds an artistic touch to the arrangement.

The Old Linen Mill

GinnyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Shirley was a marvellous host - sharing info in good time prior to arrival & going out of her way to accommodate us arriving a little early. The flat itself was beyond expectations with a great layout & homely touches. Beautifully decorated & extremely comfortable with plenty of space. Light & clean with great windows overlooking the horse paddock & the views beyond. The beds were clean & comfy, a great shower in the bathroom & fab range in the kitchen where we enjoyed making meals each day. Our car sat nav originally led us the wrong way once we got to the village but Shirley’s description was spot on once we followed that. Freuchie is a small peaceful place & ideally located to go on day trips up the coast towards Crail & St Andrews or further up North past Perth up to Dunkeld. We enjoyed Falkland hill & going to the Pillars of Hercules organic farm shop & cafe nearby & would happily stay here again as it was a real home from home with fantastic features to make you feel relaxed.

Cherrybrae Cottage

BethanyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our stay here was amazing, we were there for my birthday and we couldn't have chosen anywhere better for a weekend away. The pre-arrival instructions helped us find the place and check in with ease, and there was even a complimentary bottle of wine and pack of fudge as well as 2 complimentary drink tickets for the village cafe! Everything was so thoughtfully done from the complimentary sanitary products to the tea/coffee/milk provided and the layout of the place was perfect. It truly felt like a home from home and we could have stayed much longer. A cherry on top was within half an hour of checking in we got to watch the red squirrel visitors and they were a common visitor throughout our stay! All in all an incredible stay and we will definitely be returning!

Southbridge Studio

The apartment was really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds and lovely clean linen and towels. Only slight downside is there is no provided parking and on street parking is restricted during the day. But a bit of info for any future guests - you can park at the station car park for £1 per day if you need to! This wouldn't stop us using the apartment again though as its really lovely. Hosts are very responsive and provided all the info we needed.

The Shieling commanding views over St Andrews Bay

WendyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved this place! I can’t recommend it enough. Modern, beautifully decorated and smelled so clean and fresh from the moment we entered. The beds were extremely comfortable. You know when the linens are white, they are super clean. There are two fantastic bathrooms with plenty of space to store toiletries. One is in the master with a nice bathtub. The other is in the hall across from the second large bedroom. It has a modern shower. Both bathrooms were very clean. The views from this place were fabulous. We loved the wood burning fireplace. We played four round of golf in St. Andrew’s. You are about 15 minutes away so you would need a car. Very spacious. Washing machine and dryer were top notch. The kitchen is spacious, clean and beautiful. Lots of room. We were two couples and all four of us give this our highest ratings. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. :)

Stylish Cosy Apartment with wonderful river views

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Superb! we were lucky enough to book a slightly longer stay at Deborah's apartment, and we absolutely loved it. All the reviews of this accommodation are excellent, and in my experience I'd say deservedly so. Deborah is a really wonderful/ helpful host- very responsive and supportive. This is just a great, relaxing place to stay. Its immaculately presented, and quiet. A great place to work from; or perfect if you're visiting/ exploring the area etc. If you've time, I'd recommend exploring the Newport on Tay area- there's some beautiful walks. Be prepared to be mesmerised by the apartment views! Also, you must visit the Fifie and order the fish supper...yum! Thanks to Deborah for such a lovely stay.
