Vacation rentals with lake access in Miramar Beach

Jerry and his wife were wonderful hosts. Probably some of the best hosts we have had. We were able to check in early (1pm!!) which was so helpful with a toddler and infant for nap time. We didn’t have the best weather, but it didn’t matter - the porch was GREAT to sit out on and not get rained on. This house is VERY walkable. We walked to the beach multiple times - it’s very close and a safe walk. The neighbors are very friendly and kind. They even let our toddler play with their outdoor toys when they weren’t in use. Very family friendly (kids playing soccer outside, etc). We had no issues with noise at night - it was very peaceful. Finally, the hosts were very responsive - we unfortunately had a medical emergency and they both answered on the first ring. They were very supportive and compassionate in helping us get the care we needed. Would visit again! Thanks again! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Destin Beach! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and located in a safe, and convenient area—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Brian, the host, was incredibly nice and respectful, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back and staying here. Highly recommend!

This is my family’s 2nd time staying at Ken’s and it was great! Our neighbors upstairs were quite loud with their kids stomping but that’s not Ken’s fault. Besides that, we do plan to stay again next year but preferably with both units and more family to avoid the loud upstairs. The location is perfect to grocery and shopping stores and the beach is directly across the street. Ken even met us to formerly introduce himself which made us even more comfortable. Overall, we will be back and cannot thank Ken enough for the awesome hospitality, home, amenities, and cleanliness. This place is a gem! Highly recommended :-) plus our daughter loved feeding the turtles in the back yard and the perfect sunset views over the lake. Thank Ken!

I want to start off by saying how beautiful this home was. It’s a very large, spread out home with beautiful decor and views of the pool and bay. The master suite was my favorite with a very comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. My family loved the large home, the pool and the privacy of the home. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Plenty of activities to do in the home and outside. There is some wear and tear in the home such as the walls, but it did not affect our stay. The home shows a hot tub, which it is not a hot tub, but it is used to heat the pool. The house had everything you would need to cook, clean, fireplace, all the essentials, family games and more. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the home! I would recommend staying here!

Great place for family ! We had a blast ! Kids wanted to stay in the pool than go to the beach ! Super peaceful and great attention we will defiantly book again !

Great home and location. It was so nice to be close to Seaside beach and Santa Rosa. Pool was great and house was very clean.

We traveled to the Destin area for a very quick visit and didn’t have much time to spend at Bonnie and David’s home but we would definitely book with them again. The apartment was extremely clean and inviting. The home is conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants and shops but tucked away on a quiet and private lot away from the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic and over populated tourist spots. We really felt like we were at home. The only problem we had was finding the driveway, because it was very late when we arrived and very dark. The GPS showed the location of the home right in the middle of the street and in front of the school. We eventually found the drive and made it home! We would definitely recommend Bonnie and David as your next host. I noticed they have several homes and I’m sure all of them are just as nice! Thank you.

The place was very beautiful looked better in person than the pictures… lots of pots, pans, and plates for those cooking.. LOTs of beach toys, house was very comfortable, comfy bed and couches

Rick and Sylvia are great hosts and had everything we needed available. The pier and lake view was spectacular. We would definitely stay there again.

Not on the beach but next best to it. It’s on a resort with many amenities. Beach is only a walkable half mile along with a restaurant (beach house) on the boardwalk we ate 2 days in a row. Pool was beautiful, clean and family friendly. Easiest check in with very clear instructions. Very clean condo with a small balcony.

I fully recommend Louis's place - close to great beaches, restaurants and other activities. Louis is really responsive to inquiries. The apartment is very comfortable and was great for a couple/ 2 people. I will try to get this place when I return again to Panama City/ Destin. Thanks Louis!

Me and my wife stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The location is perfect and there are tons of restaurants close by. We also liked that it is a gated community and you had to check in with the security guard before going in. Overall 10/10 and will be coming back!

We loved this Airbnb! Lee was a wonderful host. The location was perfect with the beach right across the street, the organic cafe next door, and other great beach towns in either direction. The condo was completely charming, spotless, and beautifully remodeled.

We absolutely fell in love with this sweet cottage. Amongst the cookie cutter homes in the area this little place is reminiscent of old Florida. It had everything we needed. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, look no further. Connie is a great host and very easy to communicate with.

We had a beautiful stay here! Super pretty walk to the beach and all grocery stores and shops are within short driving distance. The fenced in front and backyard was perfect for our pup and we will definitely be coming back to stay again in the future!

We decided to book a place close to Panama City Beach to vacation. The stay was at a great location by a fresh water lake and about 30 minutes from PCB. We were allowed an early check-in which was awesome to be able to spend the day longer. The laundry room is communion shared and there is room to park a 25 foot boat or greater I'll say. The only drawback is if you plan on cooking large home meals, the kitchenette is limited. Overall this was a good value and I feel will succeed for future occupants.

We loved our stay here! The community is awesome, and the location couldn’t be better. The rooms were clean and well-organized, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the setup—nothing was overlooked. The beds were super comfortable, beach towels were provided, and everything felt easy and welcoming. We have three young kids, and they were so comfortable and happy here. We’ll definitely be back!

Cassandra was amazing! She was quick to respond, helpful with suggestions, and just made us feel right at home and an extension of the family. The cottage was adorable, functional, and very easily accommodated our family of 4 plus pup. The location was perfectly located in proximity to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The outdoor shower is a cool and functional addition to the house. 10/10 Definetly Recommend!

We’re repeat visitors and our stay this time was just as lovely as the last. The Nest offers a cozy place to hang out, bed down, and base from. We love spending time kayaking the sound and watching for wildlife. Beaches, seafood, and all the Ft.Walton/Destin vacation fun is close by, but the Nest is homey and easily fit our family of four. Very grateful for laundry to wash bathing suits in between beach days!

Such a quiet, quaint, and unique place to stay out of the hustle bustle of the touristy areas, but extremely close to amazing beaches and beach towns to explore. There are 3 excellent restaurants about 10 mins from the bnb right on the bay and many others about 20 mins away. I loved hearing the wildlife at night and in the morning with the bnb being so secluded. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to rest and reset but with the option of many great things to do and see nearby.

Daniela's home is beautiful and comfortable. Outside of the space itself being gorgeous the quality of the linens and towels, thoughtful touches throughout and the kid friendly features really stood out. Everything is well maintained and wonderful. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back and stay again.
