The Grade II listed former Wesleyan Sunday School retains many of its original features and has been recently refurbished to a high standard with a contemporary interior including a large ensuite bedroom with dressing area and glass partition giving a mezzanine feel to the beautiful open-plan living space. Swallows Nest is situated in the countryside, with views up to Caradon Hill, you can see the old Phoenix Tin Mine from the lounge window, now derelict, but worth a visit! It is easy to get to both the North, and South coast from Swallows Nest, giving you access to many of Cornwall's beaches and lovely little ports. Further afield are the lovely National Trust houses of Lanhydrock House, and Cotehele. The Eden Project is just over 20 miles away. The cottage has wifi, TV/Netflix/Freeview

We are the perfect base for your Cornish Adventure, weather you are seeking an active weekend or the chance to unwind.

The cow shed.

Welcome to the Cow Shed. We are located in the village of Upton cross. The property is at the end of our garden but completely private with its own entrance and own patio. Our home is surrounded by a working farm which is home to a herd of cows for most of the year, some are shy but others a bit cheeky and will pop there heads over the wall to be nosey. We are based right on the edge of Bodmin moor with views of the cheese rings and Sharptor, we have a local pub and shop .

Our small south facing shepherd’s hut sits within its own private acre garden in Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enjoy the views inside the hut, sit on the decked veranda or relax inside the recently added seating/dining pod & cook using the new outdoor kitchen. Discreetly sited, yet encapsulating views of the World Heritage Site. Close to all Bodmin Moor attractions, yet also not far from Looe, Polperro, Tintagel, Padstow or the Eden Project.

We live next door to the cottage, and we are more than happy to help you make the most of your stay in any way possible. However, we are completely separated, and if you don’t need us, you won’t see us!
