Vacation rentals with beach access in Mendocino

What a fantastic stay! We’ve been visiting Mendocino for years and can’t believe it took us so long to find Mary’s place. Superb location…super spacious and well equipped. Views couldn’t be any better and so convenient to the local shops and restaurants. Hope to stay there again.

Nice place, clean, great view. Really enjoyed the stay. Someone mentioned the short duration of hot water in the shower- it actually lasted for awhile so perhaps they solved that problem. It would be great if they fixed / updated the door locks and keypad. They are very old. The back door handle fell off and also the lockbox for key. It’s difficult to lock the doors. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay! Great views and very accessible to restaurants, the beach, grocery store, and golfing.

My wife and I enjoyed an absolutely delightful 4-night visit. Perfect place for a quiet, peaceful home base from which to enjoy all that the Russian River area has to offer. Kathy and Mike are very thoughtful and generous hosts. Their care and attention to detail to ensure their guests have everything they need to have as comfortable and enjoyable a stay as possible was evident throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

Great spot on Lakefront on Clear Lake. Easy and convenient location. Had a good night and enjoyed the stay.

We had an amazing time here over the weekend. The interior was clean and comfortable and the views were amazing. We enjoyed watching the bird, seals, and other wildlife. Everything we needed was less than 10 min away.

We had a wonderful time at Megan's airbnb. The house has a cozy warmth to it (in addition to the great view). After long hikes around the various trails during the day, our family enjoyed the evenings chilling in the cozy family room watching the sun set and listening to some old LP records that this house has 😊

Lovely base for exploring Mendocino. Very comfortable and quiet with modern bathroom. Easy walk to Caspar beach and short drives to Mendocino, Fort Bragg and several state parks. Kerry very communicative. Main limitation is the lack of a kitchen sink but we made it work!

Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

The Northbound Whale was charming and comfortable for my family of four; it was peaceful, pretty, and relaxing for all.

We will have to come back here. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed out. Wonderful home, feels like a warm castle & beautiful walkable surroundings with ocean views.

An absolutely beautiful home to visit!! Close enough to where you can drive to Mendocino or Fort Bragg for dinner but not be right in town. Beautiful sun room and deck. Everything was so homey feeling.

The place is fabulous so clean with beautiful views everywhere. We didn’t want to leave. Lisa is an amazing hostess and wonderful person. I will definitely go again.

The house is spacious with stunning ocean views. We can see the Point Arena light house from the living room. You have to take either 128 or highway 1 from sea ranch since Mountain View road is not well maintained, so the drive is a bit long, but it is very scenic!

Joanna’s house was a wonderful place to stay with our family. The view is amazing, even better than the pictures, we were content to just sit and relax looking out at the ocean for most of the time. The yard was great for our dog to run around in, and the nearby beach was really fun to explore as well. We hope to return soon!

I’ve been asking myself, ‘Why do I love this home so much?’ The answer came the morning of our second day. This home bears the heart of its hosts. It’s a masterful expression of the heart of an artist. You see brilliant artistry in every detail of this home. It’s magnificent. Not to mention the enchanting treehouse feel, with its wondrous symphony of birds chirping all around, set to the gentle roar of the ocean beckoning through the trees, beyond the roof topped slope down to its edge. Seaglass is pure paradise, a place of respite from a world that sometimes loses its heart and ability to welcome you in.
