Spacious 2 bedroom/3 bed/2 bath house on 1.5 acres with giant redwoods and fruit trees. Large redwood deck with hot tub and outdoor shower. A perfect getaway feeling tucked away in the woods, but also just 2 minutes from the little coastal town of Mendocino.
“Wonderful place! The thoughtful touches were amazing, the outdoor shower/spa were so nice. The property is amazing with redwood trees, beautiful sun, and a creek. We would highly recommend, nearly silent at night for light sleepers and plenty of blankets/pillows. When there was a power outage due to Northern California fires, we chose to continue our stay, and the host brought us candles, an ice chest and goodies to help. It was a fun adventure! We felt taken care of and really enjoyed our stay. We hope to come back!”
My place is in the heart of the village with spectacular ocean views, in walking distance of dining, art, shopping & parks. You’ll love it because of the views, the location, the people & ambiance. Ideal for couples, singles or business travelers.
“My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in Mendocino because we had spent our wedding night there. Staying at the Circa was the perfect choice. Easy to find nestled in the village across the field from the ocean. Mary (Super hostess) is a super communicator through texting and being available in person within minutes. The space looks nice on line but is nicer in person- much larger than expected and sweet touches from the sea are seen through out the space. Loved the very comfortable king sized bed as most places have queens. Much to my surprise, I found myself wanting to stay in for most meals because of the beautiful ocean view from the dining room and living room. No restaurant in town has a view as spectacular as the Circa. Hiking the ocean trails available just across the lane and we saw many whales spouting!! Perfect anniversary celebration-thank you Mary!”
Seaside Studio is a spacious second floor studio apartment with dramatic ocean views on Main Street in Mendocino. Immerse yourself in the culture & natural beauty of one of Northern California's most historic and picturesque seaside villages.
“I really enjoyed my time. I liked the semi-funky style. She will collect your compost, which is awesome. The kitchen was quaint, but nicely done. The bathtub was nice but no jets hit your back... It did take a significant amount of time to fill too. But overall, it was a very relaxing spot with a wonderful view, right across from the beach and trail, with takeout/restaurants very close by. Yoga on the balcony is fun! The bed was very comfortable... I'm 30 weeks pregnant so that's not always the case! There are some lights from the neighbors that come in through the white shades, which made it not completely dark at night like I'm used to and a skylight above the bed. Very bright in a.m. Keep in mind if you like to sleep in. I am a very light sleeper though, but I did get good sleep regardless. The child's bed area was adorable..I almost wish my little ones were there to enjoy it.”
