Beach house vacation rentals in Margate

Just had another wonderful stay at Sea Sprite! Susan is an exceptional host who really wants her guests to have the best possible stay. The cottage is super clean and very well equipped with many basics provided. Susan has chosen very tasteful furnishings which make the cottage a really pleasant place to stay. The bed is really comfortable and plenty of towels are provided. The location is perfect - in the quiet historic part of town within a short walk of the many good restaurants, cafes and pubs in Deal. We will be back as soon as we can!

Lovely spacious cottage matching description and photos. Town centre so easily walkable to the beach, high street and Deal’s many restaurants and bars. Janey’s cottage has everything you’d need if you want to cook, and the back garden is a lovely private sheltered space to spend time outdoors. Communication from Janey was friendly and helpful and it was easy to check in via the lockbox.

We had a great stay at Deannas beautiful house! It was said by multiple guests that it felt really homely and a very loved home, which is hard to find when looking for large rentals! We were very lucky with the weather so were able to make the most of the beautiful and well looked after garden, which comfortably sat us all. It was also very well equipped which made our lives so much easier trying to cater to 14 people, with additional fridge and freezer in the utility room. Deanna was a great host, and went above and beyond to ensure we had local information and fun things to do, with a relaxed check in and out time which was greatly appreciated. Thank you again for an incredible stay, I look forward to hopefully booking again soon!

What a wonderful, inviting, homely yet funky home. We celebrated a birthday with a group of friends and it was perfect. Every room was beautifully laid out, the cinema room was brilliant, the kitchen was equipped and the bar was brilliant. Monique and Sally were fantastic, giving us a brilliant recommendation of the coastguard arms which we walked to along gorgeous coastline. Deal town was buzzy with a market on, on the Saturday which we walked through. It was everything I hoped for and more when I booked!

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

Our multi-generational family group had a lovely week staying in Richard's beautiful house. The views from the first-floor sitting room across the Channel to France are fabulous and we were very lucky to witness a re-enactment of the Dunkirk Little Ships returning to harbour, with big crowds lining the whole harbour wall. There was lots to do in the town which has a very interesting history and we visited the Ramsgate Tunnels as well as exploring further afield - particularly Broadstairs & Margate. We all loved Richard's house, which was sited within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and restaurants and, of course, the beach. The pool table in the downstairs games room was a big hit, and it was great to be able to park two cars securely at the back of the property. A memorable trip and a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful six days at Steven and Rob’s cottage. Even before our arrival, communication with Steven was very pleasant, and the tips for our stay were really helpful. The cottage is a dream – every room is decorated and furnished with great attention to detail, and it quickly makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another time. It’s clear how much thought the two of them put into everything. Everything was very clean and carefully arranged. The location is fantastic – it’s just steps from the beach, you can see the sea from the bedroom, and restaurants and shops are within easy reach. We would love to come back and want to say thank you.

We had another great stay at Tim’s charming period cottage. It’s stylishly furnished , everything you might need is provided, a sunny private garden and the location is incredibly convenient for the town , seafront and many beaches . Tim was very responsive to any queries and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending this cottage . We’re sure to return.

A lovely short stay with friends, Our lodge was nice and clean and had plenty of games if the weather wasn’t great to keep you entertained. The lodge was nice and spacious. Great communication with the host with swift replies when needed. Thank you again 😃

We had to go out again to buy things like a sponge and dishwasher detergent, but Aldi and Tesco were nearby, so it wasn’t a big problem. The caravan was in very good condition, especially considering the price. The manager was very kind and explained everything clearly when we had questions. Our whole family really liked it.

We had a nice stay, cosy ambience, well maintained..neat and clean in and out... Loved the vintage retro props ! Had difficulty spotting the caravan as details of checkin were received after check in time. Thankfully receptionist helped us.

Our group rented both chalets via Claire. We had a lovely time getting together, going on local walks, trips to the beach and even a dip in the pool on site. Had a nice trip into Deal town, walks along the beach and into some of the shops! Thanks Claire. Would love to rent again, great location, great place, great amenities.

We stayed over the bank holiday weekend as a family of 3 and throughly enjoyed staying at Herons Nest! Jill’s communication prior to our booking was brilliant and extremely helpful. The caravan had everything we needed for our stay, including some complimentary snacks & drinks! We enjoyed playing with the selection of games and our son did lots of colouring in. Romney Park offers many activities for children and the evening entertainment was brilliant. We would highly recommend Heron’s Nest and hope to stay in the future. Thanks again to Jill & Geoff! The place was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there and we had complimentary small bottle of milk. Would definitely go back. We went to Canterbury through the bus at the entrance of the camp. Great weekend away

Andrew was a fantastic host, he was very communicative and approachable. He had left a welcome basket of treats which was appreciated! The chalet was very clean, spacious and well located. The chalet park was really peaceful and had a sea view and we enjoyed the mini golf and playground. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

my daughter, grandaughter and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and clean. Although very close to beaches, bars and restaurants, it was still very peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our second visit to Margate and we loved staying in this property! Right behind the Shell Grotto and tucked onto a private road that's nice and quiet, with a lovely back garden. It's a 15 minute walk into Old Town and a short walk to a fabulous cafe (Oast!). Wendy was incredibly responsive and kind, offering a list of kid friendly things to do, and was flexible with our check in and out times/process which was crucial for the kids! We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely, spacious house in a great location. The bedrooms are all really large, so room to spread out a bit, and there are two big rooms downstairs in addition to the kitchen. The house was well-equipped, with lots of nice touches like games and puzzles. The house overlooks the sea and there are lovely sunset views. There is a lovely sandy beach less than a minute away, and the town centre is a pleasant 20 minute walk along the promenade. Perfect!

Sharleen’s place was lovely, and perfect for us as a quick weekend away, to see friends and spend time together. Great location, and we had everything we needed at the house. Such a cute and comfy house. Thanks Sharleen! 🤩

great little place. We stayed with 2 young kids and it worked well (note there are some steep steps to navigate), we all had a great time.

Lovely place, perfect for our family of 5. 10 mins to Margate main sands and lots of good eating places and interesting shops on Northdown Road and in the Old Town 5 mins walk away.

This is our 3rd visit to this remarkable Air B&b - honestly the best one we have ever stayed at. The hosts pay attention to detail so that you are completely comfortable in the property. It is literally like home to home. I’m not going to list all the facilities etc within the house - but you will be delighted when you arrive A step away from the beach with easy walking access to Margate and its many attractions, a mini Tesco , fish and chip shop, cafes and much more 5 mins round the corner - the property is very quiet and peaceful. Quite frankly if you dont book it’s your loss - we will be back for sure!

We had the best time staying at Ben’s place. We’ve visited Margate many times and this place just topped off a great NYE visit. The place was even better than the photos and we felt at home immediately. The art and decor was stunning, beautiful design whilst also feeling cosy. Would love to visit again in the future. Thank you so much for such a great break!
