Beachfront vacation rentals in Margate

This is our second visit to Kish & Fiona's lovely home in Margate and it was just as great this time as it was originally. Kish & Fiona were a great help when we were running late for our arrival and shopping delivery for the weekend, they arranged for their cleaner to be at the property for us which was such a lovely thing to do. We will definitely be back next time we go to Margate.

A lovely place to stay, right on the beach front with an incredible view. 5km down to Whitstable which is lovely to run, local food places were good and so much to do within close proximity. The accommodation was perfect, cost and homely with relaxing views of the beach front. Had everything we needed and Kay provided some lovely bread ect such lovely touches and made you feel super welcome. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Thank you Laura & Simon for a great stay - we will definitely be returning in the future as Broadstairs is beautiful and the location of the Airbnb was great! A perfect dog friendly getaway ☺️

Great property. Pics don’t do it justice. We really felt at home. Super close to the beach and park for the dogs. So many amenities, even a spare toothbrush - which i had forgotten at home. Thank you for having us.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage. Beautiful Airbnb and a great location- a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. Lovely sunny garden with furniture and a bbq. Comfortable beds. The stairs are steep but that’s called out in the description. We can’t wait to visit again!

Honestly, words can’t describe how grateful I am for Sheila and to be able to stay here to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely amazing communication!! So kind and friendly. The house was amazing and THE VIEW was incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. I would more than come back here again. But if you’re looking for a sign to book this place, this is it!! We had a wonderful six days at Steven and Rob’s cottage. Even before our arrival, communication with Steven was very pleasant, and the tips for our stay were really helpful. The cottage is a dream – every room is decorated and furnished with great attention to detail, and it quickly makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another time. It’s clear how much thought the two of them put into everything. Everything was very clean and carefully arranged. The location is fantastic – it’s just steps from the beach, you can see the sea from the bedroom, and restaurants and shops are within easy reach. We would love to come back and want to say thank you.

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

We absolutely loved staying at the Beach Hut. The location was perfect, we walked into Margate and Birchington. Train and buses so close if needed . Westgate High street was so close and the Swan which was 2 minutes away was great for food and drinks. It was really peaceful and extremely clean, such lovely touches with coffee/tea, milk, water and cereal. We loved the chilled atmosphere sitting in the front of the hut for drinks or coffee , so relaxing. We would definitely stay again and also recommend for a perfect relaxing break and although we only got to wave at Lorraine , David was so friendly and checked to see if all was ok for us . Great communication and we absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for our stay and how attentive and responsive you have been 👍

The place was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there and we had complimentary small bottle of milk. Would definitely go back. We went to Canterbury through the bus at the entrance of the camp. Great weekend away

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

It was the perfect hut for a full day at the beach with the kids, all the amenities meant that we didn’t have to carry loads or stuff to the beach! Thank you and we will definitely be rebooking! ☺️

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

Exactly what it says on the tin, as they say. Friendly people, a nice little grass dog walking area next to a nature reserve. Pub opposite served lovely food as does the clubhouse I’m sure, although we didn’t get to eat there it served a lovely Guinness and provided great entertainment from bingo to cabaret. All in all very happy and hope to go book even just for a mini weekend break. Sandra and her hubby, nice people and very helpful, thank you both. Mark & Michelle

Had a lovely mini break away at Kimberley’s place. Felt right at home straight away and the location was perfect for seaside walks, popping to the near seaside towns and watching the beautiful sunsets this area of the North Kent coast is famous for. The home was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, the beds were really comfortable and I loved the little touch of leaving some bread, butter & milk, snacks and a hot drinks station. Loved it so much that we’ve already booked to go back again in the Summer so I think that says it all! Thankyou Kimberley, you were the perfect host! 😊

I think this is my fourth stay in this lovely flat. It’s the perfect place to stay. In a peaceful part of town with the most amazing views and, if you are lucky, the most extraordinary sunsets over the sea. If you are a swimmer it has the extra benefit of being very close to the stunning Walpole Bay sea pool. Swimming there are sunset is a wonderful experience.

Great price for a great flat in a great location. Really clean and about 20 steps from the beach front! Couldn’t fault it. Host left us drinks in the mini fridge which was nice. Reclining sofa and electric bed. Only thing i thought was missing was an ice tray!

This is a brilliant airbnb. It is a real home from home. Everything is of a really hi spec from the bathroom to the bedding. It had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Julie was a great host and was very flexible with the times of arrival aand departure which helped us out immensely. We were given a lovely friendly welcome and information on good places to eat etc. We were even given a bottle of milk! Cannot recommend this place highly enough, will defo be back!!

We had a lovely minibreak here with our kids. The house has a cosy period property feel and a well equipped kitchen. We loved how close the house is to the beach and the shops and restaurants in town. Natasha shared a helpful online guidebook ahead of our stay which helped us plan ahead where we wanted to eat out and even buy ice cream!

I had a wonderful time in Deal and felt incredibly comfortable with my stay! Thank you Lisa and I look forward to coming back 😊

Caroline is lovely- a dream host with so many generous touches from cosmetics to condiments and milk bread butter, croissant. Really went above and beyond as a host. Don’t think I’ve had a stay with such attention to detail. The decor is stunning and she has a great eye. Such a cool vibe and feels like a Margate experience not to be missed. Amazing books, incredible artworks. Comfortable bed, linens. Fabulous lighting and calm view towards the sea. Thank you so much. I hope to come back xx

The accommondation was far greater than our expectations. We considered the bedrooms to be even more aesthetically pleasing than what was advertised which was good in its own right. Had all household amenities that made you feel as if you were right at home. All spaces were clean and a folder was provided with “Things to do and see” which was a thoughtful touch. Location wise, it overlooked the sea and is in walking distance of key spaces such as the beach, train station and local shops. We would recommend too any and everyone looking to spend time in Margate for the beach, annual festivals like Recessland or just time away in the area.

We had a great stay at Maxwell's flat in Margate. The location was one of the best bits- and with the view from the windows! The apartment was comfortable and large. We really appreciated the nice sheets and towels, but otherwise the cleaning and amenities were on the basic side, and could be more generous- but if you're very self-sufficient and have all your own things, this is a great Airbnb in a great town :) Thanks!
