Vacation rentals with a patio in Lyme Regis

My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights in Guy’s Hideaway - the perfect little bolthole by the sea. Great location for walking into town, to great restaurants and to the beach (fossil hunting is a must!). The outdoor deck overlooking the coast was an absolute gem!! Guy was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely, clean, warm and comfortable with everything you could wish for. Dan was very accommodating, and quick to answer questions. Very happy.

Delightful small cottage. Everything you need, welll described. Very friendly hosts. But best is the location! Remarkably peaceful and bucolic.

Cosy garden flat that was perfect position to get to Lyme Regis and walks in the area, we didn't use the car for the 3 days we were here. We decided to cook all our meals at home and prepare packed lunches and the kitchen had all the equipment and utensils we needed. I loved having my breakfast in the suntrap garden. Rebecca was really helpful when we had a query and the instructions to get in & which car park to use etc were very clear.

We had the nicest time here. A two night stopover in Exeter before a family gathering elsewhere. It truly is a little oasis, and you would never know you were in a big city. So close to the railway too, about a ten minute walk. The apartment is so pretty and so beautifully done, it may be small but you just don't feel hemmed in. The lovely little patio area helps too. We came with coffee, milk and porridge but everything was there for us, even spare toiletries. Thank you for having us, and we hope to be back. Loved having Alexa too !

We had such a wonderful stay at Conifers … such a beautiful design with attention to space and light… modern, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Everything is included for a great stay… Tina and Mike were brilliant and provided good information about the area … it’s a place we will always remember in our favourite place… we hope to return.. 🥰

We had a really lovely 5 days at the Garden Flat. It absolutely lived up to expectations. Quiet location but very easy to walk to the centre of Swanage and the beach. Also almost direct access to the Priests' Way and then coastal walks. The flat itself was very comfortable, exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean. The bed linen and towels are top quality. Lovely private garden space. Highly recommended.

Having basics left for us, salt + pepper, teabags, shower gel etc was so helpful. We walked everywhere but when we did drive we knew we didn’t have to search for a parking spot as Stephen left a permit so we had our own space (would be difficult to find at busy times). The property was within the centre of the village.

Only thing to say is that at no point did we know the name of the cottage and as there is no photo of the outside , we were slightly unsure which house it was !

We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth’s cottage – truly an oasis to relax and soak in Devon’s beautiful nature. The space is neat, clean, and spacious, yet still incredibly cosy and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – especially with the delicious homemade flapjacks and thoughtful selection of local products waiting for us. Everything is so well thought through – from the comfortable bed that guarantees a great night's sleep to the well-equipped kitchen. We loved spending slow mornings enjoying coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Elizabeth is a fantastic host – friendly, attentive, and full of great local tips. It’s clear how much love and care she puts into the cottage, which really feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect – peaceful and remote enough to fully unwind. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a restful, charming stay in Devon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Janice's place! It had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, which is a priority for us! The house is also fitted with quality and durable furniture, and there were plenty of fluffy towels. The shower was enjoyable. We loved the quiet and peaceful location. Another strange sounding thing that we've come to appreciate on our travels is the horizontal storage space available here. By that I mean that there were tables, counters, etc. on top of which we could keep clothes, etc., instead of frequently having to go into our suitcase. We loooved that haha. Finally, we really enjoyed easy access to the Information Room (separate but a few steps away from the house), which had anything from extra freezer space to books to toys for kids! We would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend. Will definitely book again the next time we are in Lyme. Great location and a lovely property. A really warm welcome from the host which was much appreciated.

We stayed as a group of six for three nights (May 22–25) and had a wonderful experience. Charlie and Ali were amazing friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The property was perfectly located, allowing us to enjoy peaceful walks in the surrounding area, and we felt completely safe throughout our stay. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had all the facilities we needed. They provided clear, helpful information about how to use everything, which made settling in very easy. Communication was excellent they responded quickly to any questions we had. Overall, a fantastic stay. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to return in the future!

Four of us have just had the best our day stay we could have dreamt of. Sian’s Myrtle Cottage was an easy & comfortable, tranquil five star golden find for us. It’s evident that so much effort went into this, anticipating the needs of anyone considering booking this charming old cottage in this unique location. We highly recommend The River Lim Walk, that starts from just down the road and takes you into Lyme Regis past beautiful old riverside cottages ending at The Town Mill, in the heart of the town. This turned out to be a day trip in itself and we all said it was the nicest walk we had been on in our lives, and even for those that don’t walk alot, this is worthwhile. Hugh Fearnley- Whittingstall’s River Cottage Cafe, is very close, “you need to book”, most enjoyable and another one for anyone’s bucket list. Overall, first class, well done Sian, and thank you for making our trip, which was a 79th birthday treat, such a memorable trip. Mark, Pip, Jane & Dave x

A beautiful and spacious apartment with a delightful patio garden, offering a charming view over Brixham. Comfortable and well equipped, the apartment was spotless. Moira was warm and welcoming. I cannot imagine a better place to stay.

Anthony was a lovely host. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around our accommodation. He explained the area and the different options of how to walk into weymouth. The accommodation was lovely and clean. I really love the smell of clean laundry when you stay somehwere and Anthony's place smelt lovely and clean. The place is spotless and ample room for two. Anthony left a bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge for us which was very welcome and a lovely touch, haven't had that before at any other airbnb. We will be back😊

Diana was the perfect host and couldn’t do enough to make our stay just as perfect. The accommodation was pristine and exceeded expectations. The gardens were peaceful and tranquil. I can’t rate this property highly enough and would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a convenient location for surrounding areas. We were there for a wedding so can’t comment on the wider area and what’s on offer.

Karens place is beautifully decorated there is nothing gone to chance this place is exceptionally well presented, its absolutely beautiful and great value for money, I stayed there whilst I was working away so was a bit gutted I couldn't enjoy it longer! this is a must if in the area, it has everything a couple or family could wish for, I'd love to return with my family!

I really should say something horrible to put people off... so that my wife and I can book it whenever we want to!! However.... it was a fantastic apartment, with great facilities, everything we needed and a few extra things we weren't expecting, which made it really special. Parking under cover was a real bonus. And the location was simply perfect. Close to the beach, the station, and the town. Can't wait to go again (if you don't all beat me to it!)
