Apartment vacation rentals in Lyme Regis

Really enjoyed how quirky Julian's place was. It was exactly as described and we loved the house. Good facilities such as washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets, dairy liquid, handwash supplied which was appreciated. Large Tesco express 2 doors down, super convenient. Internet not very fast but we managed. Car parking was a 6 minute walk from Church Street, although getting in and out of the space would be tricky for someone who isn't a confident driver. It was tight! Perfect location, right in the hustle and hustle of Lyme Regis. Road is noisy which is understandable, and single glazing really doesn't help with this... Or the noisy seagulls at 3am which can't be helped.

The beach hut is a perfect retreat. It is beautifully kept and has a gorgeous private garden which goes right up to the water’s edge. It’s wonderfully located less than 5 minutes walk from the main Sandbanks beach and Rick Stein’s restaurant. The Studland chain ferry is also very close giving access to stunning Shell Bay and the wild National Trust beaches. Michele was very friendly & provided many thoughtful touches including her homemade lemon drizzle cake - sublime! I would love to return as it’s a perfect spot from which to explore this area or just to meditate on your bed with a sea view. Thanks Michele!

Such a great place to stay. It is spotless and Jaquine has thought of everything that you might need from a bottle of fizz to salt and pepper etc. Such a short walk to the beach and famous fish and chips. The scenery is stunning and the location is quiet and relaxing. Fantastic to visit many places of interest nearby.

We had an incredible stay with Nikki for our holiday this year. The flat was perfect for what we were looking for, a base right on the beach front where there were restaurants and cocktails bars around to enjoy in the evenings. Nikki was an excellent host and was very responsive whenever we messaged her with questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!

Sally was a great host. We had clear instructions how to get there, where to park & get the keys. The flat is just as described but the view is even better. We had a great 2 day stay with everything we needed. Short walk to restaurants & beach front. Will definitely stay again.

Emily and Luke were really helpful and welcoming. The apartment is lovely, and they have equipped it with great care and thoughtfulness. All the instructions were very clear and helpful. Impeccably clean. Very comfortable. We really liked their style, too - the furniture and the art. Had a great stay, thank you.

The Old Bakery was a real find. Jude and Will are hosts who go above and beyond. They couldn’t do enough for us. Not only was the apartment clean, cosy and comfortable, but they had provided everything we needed for breakfast, and told us if there was anything else they could provide to just ask. They were so friendly, communicative and helpful, and said if there was anything we needed or had problems with, to contact them day or night. Those personal touches make a huge difference. We enjoyed sitting in the sunny garden at the back for our breakfast! We had a nice pub meal one night in the Ropemakers in town, which was only a 10 minute walk away. We also had a lovely walk across the cliff path from Bridport to Eype, which was a lovely pebble beach. We visited Sculpture by the Lakes, which was a beautiful place, and Forde Abbey gardens, all of which are worth visiting if you like a bit of peace and tranquility. Thank you Jude and Will. We’d love to return!

I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

Amazing apartment, perfect for our first holiday with our 3 month old baby and two dogs! Right in Lyme Regis with beautiful ocean views, we will be booking the same again next year x

Myself, my husband and our little boy stayed last week and what can we say. We were blown away! Kate and Kieron are amazing! The apartment was beautiful, so well kept, clean and tidy. There was an information pack when we arrived with bits to do, housekeeping bits, even takeaway places! There was a welcome basket for us with fresh fruit, crisps, cookies and a lovely card. Kate had even went above and beyond and left a card, beer and chocolate for my husband for his birthday! The communication throughout the trip was amazing, we felt so welcome. We felt very safe staying there which was a big one for us having a little boy. Kate had made sure that she had put a basket of toys in the apartment for our little boy too. We could not have asked for a better host. The directions of how to get there and how to check in were brilliant! If you are looking for somewhere in Torquay I would highly recommend here, don’t go anywhere else!! We will definitely be back!!

Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights in Guy’s Hideaway - the perfect little bolthole by the sea. Great location for walking into town, to great restaurants and to the beach (fossil hunting is a must!). The outdoor deck overlooking the coast was an absolute gem!! Guy was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Great stopover place for our trip to Exeter. Cottage was beautifully furnished in a peaceful village and had everything we needed.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Roobys Retreat which was exactly as described and very well equipped. My little girl loved the toys and the Disney channel, they were a great touch. It’s in a good location on the high street so it’s within easy reach of shops, restaurants and beach. Joe is very responsive if you have a question. Very clean, we will be back. I spent a lovely few days in Rebecca's garden flat and would happily stay again. It has a small but well required kitchen, surprisingly spacious main room and separate bedroom with a comfortable bed. The patio garden is a nice extra and the flat is pretty much ideally located. Lyme Regis is very hilly, but the back door of the flat is very close and on a level with the long stay parking (free with permit in the flat) while the front door is at the top of the main street. (If you couldn't walk through the flat you would have to go up and down a significant hill to get to the same spot.)

Great stay at the recording studios, the place was clean and in stunning surrounds, with amazing views! Hot tub was great, kitchen was great for a week of family meals. Not far to walk into Salcombe town centre where there are some lovely pubs and restaurants! All round a great stay thank you!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Katy and Dale's place. It was easy to find, with clear instructions and plenty of free parking nearby. It was well located to the babbacombe downs, local restaurants and pubs. The walk to torquay is quite nice too and not too far. The hot tub was lovely and hot for when we arrived, and the robes were a nice touch. The annex is on the smaller side but well designed so didn't feel cramped. Everything was clean and tidy. There was some nice additions - a few games, loads of dvds, tea, milk, and a couple of snacks. We didn't have any problems with the stay but all interactions with Katy and Dale were polite, timely and clear. Thanks for being excellent hosts.

Anna's place is a beautiful. It is done up to a beautiful standard, and a great location to explore Weymouth, durdle door and Lulworth cove. Positives: - beautiful welcome pack on arrival - clean linen and towels - all instructions were easy to use - lovely spacious and airy - It has a spar right next door. - parking onsite - jacuzzi was nice Negatives -I believe Anna has new cleaners that day so kitchen and bathroom weren't 100% clean and bit musty. -the garden could do with a bit of maintenance - there is no stair gate for stairs worth noting for people with young kids. - no microwave (if needed) Overall it was a fab stay and we would definitely stay there again. Anna was quick to respond to my feedback and a superb host

Heron’s Reach is an absolute gem! So comfortable and relaxing that our 2 nights away felt like a week! Would definitely recommend - ideal for taking it easy in Budleigh Salterton or exploring further afield.

Lovely stay in this well equipped apartment in beautiful Monmouth House. It's very well located, making everything in Lyme Regis walkable only minutes from the seafront, shops and restaurants. Leesa gave very clear and helpful instructions and information before our stay and was quick to respond to any messages.

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!
