Beach house vacation rentals in Lyme Regis

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Brilliant stay with david & Jill ! Not one bad word to say, amazing location, beautiful view of the marina from the house, the neighbours are AMAZING!! Super friendly and gave us loads of recommendations of what to do with the kids & where. Decor is stunning and different, was hard work keeping everything safe and intact from the kids but enjoyed ourselves none the less. Would absolutely stay again, worth the price every time! Very quiet small village, parking was a bit of a nightmare but considerably cheap for long stay !

York House, attached to the royal York hotel, is a stunning setting to either relax and unwind in Sidmouth or explore the Devonshire coast. We stayed over New year for a week, and what a break. So relaxing. The house was comfortable, homely and perfect for four adults and two children. you can hear noise from neighbouring places, which didn't bother us but on the first night did worry us as could hear footsteps. don't be alarmed it's just upstairs! Amenities both in the house and I'm local area are perfect. lovely bathrooms and showers. televisions smart with all streaming options could need! would definitely love to stay again and would recommend to everyone. Lastly, the view, undisturbed, perfect sea view, watching the sun rise and sun set, the sound of waves whilst drifting to sleep was idyllic!!

Amazing place! Perfect location for a family holiday. The house has absolutely everything you need and more. We really enjoyed sea kayaking and paddle boarding with all Daves's kit. The sea is so close you can carry everything down to the shore. We really loved the hot tub and sauna and bbq area. The games room was a great space for the kids to hang out and play as well as the adults. We couldn't have wanted more. We'd wholeheartedly recommend this amazing house.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chesil Cove . Our third stay at Greyjoys. Comfortable, clean, everything you need is provided. An ideal spot for discovering this area. We’ll be coming back again soon.

I loved my stay here! The location is fantastic, and the little garden in back was heavenly. I loved sitting outside at sunset and drinking coffee out there in the morning. Host was extremely gracious and had great recommendations (River Exe Cafe is a true gem). The house is extremely cozy. I wish I stayed here longer!

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Would highly recommend this airbnb to anyone visiting weymouth! The house is immaculate, probably the cleanest air bnbs I've ever stayed in! The view from the living room is stunning, looks directly out into the harbour, you can just sit there and watch the world go by. It was really easy to get around, all the bars and restaurants in walking distance. Parking is also 5 min walk down the road. We came with a 9 month old and the host was able to accomodate us with a cot and highchair which was really helpful. Generally, the house is very well equipped and has beautiful kitchenware if you plan on having an evening in. Overall a great stay and a lovely host who was super responsive.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Enjoyable stay in surprisingly roomy static caravan. The kitchen and living room were lovely and well stocked with pans and utensils etc. Everything really easy and a great location only 5 mins drive from the beach, Swimming pool and staff there were brilliant. Thanks

My family and I had a wonderful stay, there was plenty to do for all ages. Very relaxing having swims and using the hot tub. Then preparing our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We ended each night with stories around the fire pit. Well worth a visit and would definitely love to visit again.

Lovely place and we had a great stay. Only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, Maria let us know a few days beforehand that there was an issue with the boiler.

A wonderfully peaceful lodge and super helpful host, Abi. Deceptively spacious inside and beautiful sea views from the terrace. Terrific walks right from the front door too, wouldn’t stay anywhere else on future visits!

location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

A well positioned, clean, tidy and comfortable caravan on a fabulous site right by the beach with plenty to do. Caravan was lovely with everything we needed.

Wow this place is just lovely. We’re a family of 4 with 2 dogs and it suited us perfectly. Really clean on arrival which is always a good start. Thoughtful little starter pack of milk and treats, for us and the dogs! Private terrace, perfect for chilled out evenings. The cottage is well equipped with everything you’d need, from kitchen ware to maps and menus. The kids loved the fossiling kit :-)) We had the best stay - thank you Steve, we shall definitely return.

Stayed at Julia's place for 5 nights with husband and 2 kids (4 and 2). Julia was so helpful in advance, even moving the second single bed so we had space for out travel cot. The cottage was lovely, lots of space to store our luggage and such comfy beds! Even though the master faces the road and I'm a light sleeper, I wasn't disturbed at all, it was very peaceful. The space at the back is great for a drink in the sun. We loved the recreation grounds and park less than 10 mins walk away, and the bakery en route. A short downhill walk to the beach where there are a couple of cafes, loos and a brilliant gift shop (fossils and gems for all ages!). 10 min drive to Lyme Regis. Would gladly stay again, thanks so much Julia!

Susie is a very friendly & responsive host, answering any queries immediately. The house is lovely and spacious, in a very peaceful location. It is very close and easily walkable to the seafront. It was lovely having a private, outside space. Lovely to be able to sit in the garden with distant views of Golden Cap. Susie is obviously an art lover & we enjoyed her sometimes quirky choice of artworks.

Lovely place to stay. Brilliant location for exploring the south coast. Clean, comfy, with everything including the beach within a few minutes walk of the front door. Couldn’t fault it, hope to come back in the future.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Tim’s place. The location is absolutely perfect: next to the river, and just a short walk to town and the beach. Very clean and comfortable - we didn’t want to leave!

Amazing house with fantastic views of the harbour. Great location as you can either walk to the beach or the town, or get the historic rowing ferry for a couple of quid, right at the bottom of the steps of Nothe Gardens. The house was really well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay, making it feel like a home away from home. Good size bedrooms with plenty of space downstairs for the 8 of us. The garden is a real sun trap and we enjoyed watching the sunsets in the evening. The hosts were brilliant - we couldn’t access the shed to get the BBQ and whilst we were out they had changed the lock and got it out ready for our return, amazing service! It was a lovely long weekend and we could’ve easily stayed longer - I can’t recommend Nothe House enough! Thank you so much!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Smugglers Cove Cottage in West Lulworth. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the charm and character of the cottage, beautifully maintained, with a cozy, traditional cottage and all the comforts of home inside. The blend of old-world charm and modern amenities was spot on. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and clearly cared for with pride. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the lounge area was perfect for relaxing after long walks on the coast. The cottage is just a short walk to Lulworth Cove and within easy access to Durdle Door. It made the perfect base for exploring the Jurassic Coast, and we loved having coastal walks, and there are lovely pubs right on our doorstep. Emma was very responsive and helpful. Bonus point for being dog-friendly, our dog was just as happy as we were, especially with the enclosed garden and nearby trails and the treats provided. We would absolutely stay there again.
