Vacation rentals with beach access in Lyme Regis

Despite the weather which was better than expected , we had a lovely stay. The area is beautiful.

Another geat stay .Photos of the views are really good but the real think is something else great views from every window. Accurate description on the listing and fantastic replies from Suki on any questions. We will book again.

What a truly wonderful stay, and the photos REALLY do not do this beautiful place justice!! We had the most lovely welcome from Chris and Sally when we arrived, were given lots of tasty treats to keep us going until we were able to shop the next day, and loved every second of our stay with them. They really did think of everything we could possibly need, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is excellent as we were able to park right outside the property. There is also a bus stop directly outside so we jumped on the bus to Exeter, which only took half an hour. The drive to Starcross is only about 10 minutes and we parked up and got the lovely foot-passenger ferry over to Exmouth (definitely worth the trip and very cheap.) We will DEFINITELY be returning and are already missing the sound of the ocean.

I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

My husband, 10-year-old daughter and myself have just returned from a truly amazing week, the property is beautiful, with facilities that far exceeded expectations. We had such a relaxing time; the beds are super comfy; led in bed looking out to sea with a coffee in the morning was a true highlight. The gardens are beautifully kept and being gated and private we had no worries with our daughter playing out. The walk down to Watcombe Beach, albeit steep on the way back up but 100% worth it; we took our paddleboard down and went swimming on a number of occasions, the water is very calm, on 2 occasions we were in the water and within 20ft off us were 2 seals! The hot tub was perfect, lovely fluffy robes provided to keep off the chill. We used the BBQ each evening and ate out on the patio. Susan is an incredible host, nothing is too much trouble, very informative and exceedingly helpful, she really did enhance our stay and made us feel as if we were staying in a home from home.

Great location and beautiful flat. We took our 1 year old with us and it was perfectly suited to him toddling around too. Very clean and modern interior. Would highly recommend!

Having basics left for us, salt + pepper, teabags, shower gel etc was so helpful. We walked everywhere but when we did drive we knew we didn’t have to search for a parking spot as Stephen left a permit so we had our own space (would be difficult to find at busy times). The property was within the centre of the village.

Beer is certainly worth a visit, a beautiful village on the coast with stunning scenery in all directions. Nikki and Chris's cottage is comfortable, welcoming and convenient for the area with private off-street parking. Communication was excellent throughout with local tips and knowledge. Would certainly recommend their property.

Great location and place to stay. Can walk to the beach and it’s perfect to come back to relax in. Extras like milk in the fridge on arrival and all required kitchen and cleaning things provided as well as beach towels. Super clean and warm, with really comfy beds.

What a wonderful break of journey, great hosts and a wonderful location, the cottage felt so homely and meeting Emily and Mike was like catching up with old friends, very relaxed and very helpful, we shall certainly be going back in the very near future. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short drive and the town has a really friendly atmosphere. Great mixed street market twice a week, you name it they sell it, great bargains to be had. We actually stayed twice once on the way down to Cornwall and then again on the way back, we did regret booking several days in Cornwall on reflection we would have been happier staying at the cottage in Bridport.

As a family we fully enjoyed our few days in a wonderful home. It was comfortable and well equipped. It’s location close to the town centre was much appreciated and the sea views from the bedroom’s were superb. Linda proved to be a very attentive host and communication was proactive and timely

The Annexe is a great place to stay - so comfortable, absolutely spotless and in a beautiful peaceful location close to Seaton. There is everything you could possibly need there. Debbie and Derek are fabulous hosts - really welcoming, friendly and helpful. We can honestly say that it's the best Airbnb we have stayed in and cannot recommend it enough.

The cottage and surroundings were beautiful and sitting in the pretty garden with a book was so relaxing as it’s such a peaceful location. Our little miniature dachshund loved exploring the garden too and watching the sheep and chickens! The cottage is really comfortable and perfectly located for exploring Lyme Regis and Charmouth which are both really close. We loved our time here

Clean and well maintained. Fabulous location, right on the esplanade. Excellent mattresses. West Bay itself; we were worried about the caravan park and that this can generate constant nagging from the kids about sweets, arcades and plastic tat, but there was none of this. It’s a little harbour (good crabbing), a beach and coastal walks with a few ice cream and food options. This week the beach generated very strong waves that were not suitable for younger children, my 11 and 14 yr olds loved it. “Rise” restaurant was superb.

we had a fabulous few days in this attractive and stylish apartment. The location was excellent as were the unparalleled views across the river Dart to the Britannia Naval College. There was plenty to do in the local area with easy access to Dartmouth and numerous restaurants, parks and shops. Matt is a very helpful and supportive host and we would highly recommend the Loft as a wonderful seaside escape

The flat was spacious and very well equipped. We overlooked the harbour and had exceptionally easy access to the beaches and coast path in both directions. We liked having a dedicated parking space; this was very close to the flat which made unloading easy. West Bay is very pretty so there were many photographic opportunities. The people living locally were very friendly. There's a footpath to Bridport which made a walk into the town on Market Day very easy. Perfect for us!

It’s a great flat in a great location. Slight hiccup with hot water but Dean sorted promptly. Would recommend.

Beautiful apartment with stunning views. brand new bathroom with walk in shower and lovely Neal's Yard products which smell amazing. Welcome pack of food goodies including milk, butter, croissants cheese, jam, marmalade and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Couldn't have asked more from our hosts Lynne and Neal. We have no hesitation in recommending this gorgeous apartment, you won't be disappointed. Su & Joe Makin

The flat was great and very roomy, all of the rooms had been done out to a high standard. Mark and Gemma were very helpful and responded very quickly. Facilities I were as advertised and to a high standard. The driveway was steep so take it slow but plenty of room to turn around as going backwards was not recommended but Mark. But plenty of space for our estate car.

Perfect location! Amazing seaside views, really enjoyed watching the waves and people watching from the comfort of the sofa/bedroom. Kitchen well stocked and lovely touch of bread, milk, jam and biscuits for breakfast the next day. The sofa bed was really comfy for our two children, and plenty of space for our family of four. Super clear instructions to enter, and the parking permit was a huge plus! Really enjoyed our stay!
