Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Our location is fantastic for mountain bike trails and hiking. You can access both directly from The Nest so no need to get in the car to explore! If you are looking to experience Loch Lomond we are under 10 minutes drive to the shore at Balmaha.

The Granary - Dumbain Farm

The Granary accommodation is peaceful, private and has plenty parking. The rooms are spacious with a double en-suite bedroom located on the first floor. There is a private entrance only for guests. Continental breakfast is left in the fridge for you to prepare including: muesli, bread, milk, orange juice, cheese, oatcakes, fruit, homemade raspberry jam, shortbread, ground coffee and a selection of tea.
