Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Lomond Retreat

This stunning lodge at is on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond at the foot of Ben Lomond. The lodge looks right out towards Loch Lomond with amazing views over the surrounding mountains. There is plenty to do on and around the loch including hill walking, mountain climbing, water sports, fishing, cycling and just general sight seeing. There are no shops at Rowardennan so be sure to be organised with supplies. Asda,Sainsury’s, Morrisons, Tesco etc all deliver there. EV charger available.

I spend much of the year here myself but love to rent it to others to enjoy whilst I'm away.

'The hoot' lodge 29, is a spacious log cabin on the rugged eastern banks of Loch Lomond. Rowardennan is at the mid point of Loch Lomond and is nestled at the foot of Ben Lomond. Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
