Quirky, sparkly, hidden gem, just off the seafront

The perfect space for the young (or young at heart), looking for something exciting and unique! There is a lounge/kitchenette (fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster). Shower & WC. This is more a work of art than a room. With extravagant, exotic, flowing murals and a golden, glittering ceiling, illuminated by chandeliers. This room is a unique experience. Imagine yourself in an exotic four-poster bed, in a grand oriental house, with a beautiful ceiling, broken to reveal a stunning midnight blue-green 'sky', resplendent with gold stars. The hand crafted furniture enhances the experience, as does the rococo style blue and gold shower and toilet decorated with huge oriental style flowers. Newley furnished, bathroom was perfect, nice body wash. Good to have a fridge. Slept well, easy to check in. Good value at 49 pounds for 2. The bedroom did have a peculiar musty smell.

Only stayed one night for next day flight out of Gatwick but loved this small town. Place is only a few minutes to the airport and Quasim gave us a ride for a very reasonable fee. Booked the 4 bed room and felt more spacious than what I imagined from the pictures. Bathroom was so pristine and new looking. Horley is such a cute town. Ate at Foresters for the night and the food was amazing. Also did one of the escape and my group had so much fun! Would have loved to spend more time in this town.

I’d definitely recommend staying here, nice rooms and the added bonus of it being a pub so not far to go after having dinner and drinks.

Awesome location, Melanie is an amazing host! So welcoming, and the breakfast was wonderful! The common area is also nice and the rooms are quaint. I didn’t want to knock a star for these few things, but just to inform: 1) the walls are quite thing; if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise (can hear surroundings) 2) was unfortunately quite hot; the fan isn’t super strong and the window doesn’t catch a good breeze so in the summer it’s definitely toasty at night Overall though really appreciate the hospitality 🙏 thank you for everything

Lovely room and fantastic breakfast. It was lovely to meet Melanie and the whole place had a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
