Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Placid

I don’t know how to do this, but let me start with how awesome the host was super fast at getting back to me with my questions. The house wa clean and had all the tools needed to do all the cooking we needed to do the space seemed to be actually slightly larger than the pictures I would recommend maybe having the photos redone. Kitchen was a perfect setup for being able to serve a large group the porch was a great view with nice big windows. I asked everyone in the group and they all said that beds were comfortable and clean. The waterfront space was perfect for a fire at night 10/10 would recommend this place to everyone that has a group or even just two people

Robin is a wonderful host and her place was perfect for our family to stay and relax between skiing. Very close to Whiteface in a quiet part of Wilmington. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great weekend, was a lovely area and was able to sleep everyone comfortably. Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet get away.

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas at Antoine’s home. The house was warm, inviting, and made us feel right at home. We had a fantastic time, from cross-country skiing during the day to relaxing by the cozy fireplace at night. We’d love to return in the summer to experience it again!

The house was amazing. Enough space for everyone in my group. It was also very cozy, made us feel at home! Gabrielle was an amazing host, communicated well with us. She checked in to make sure everything was okay and if we checked in smoothly.

The house was fabulous and exactly as described. It was worth it to pay the extra hot hub winter fee. So close to fantastic ski trails and overlooking a beautiful pond. We will definitely be staying there again!

This Adirondack camp was an absolute blast in an amazing location! The direct access to the lake made our vacation unforgettable, especially with the provided kayaks for exploring the beautiful lake and connecting waterways. Our dogs had the time of their lives running around the spacious yard, and the pizza stone was fantastic for making delicious homemade pizzas to enjoy in the front room while while enjoying the stunning views of the sun setting over the lake. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect lakefront retreat!

we had a nice stay and it was fun to swim with our dogs and use the kayaks, beautiful peaceful views from the upper deck! can see all the way to vermont and the beach close by was an easier way for kids to swim. the rock beach is not pebble or river stones, it is large boulders. some safety issues particularly because we had small children with us.. but would recommend adding vertical rungs to the railings of the staircase inside and porch. the entrance to the dock was broken and dangerously patched with a plank. the driveway was hazardous although he forewarned us of that, we just didn’t understand the degree of difficulty that it really was. he was very responsive and it was clean.

We had an amazing time, the house was exactly as advertised, and the hosts were extremely responsive with questions/answers. We felt right at home, the house had everything needed for a cozy stay. Gorgeous view and we will be coming back 100%.

The photos do not accurately capture how pretty this place is. The home is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is lovely! We had a wonderful time on Loon Lake and especially enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. There are no homes directly across the lake, and there is a lot of greenery on either side of the home. So the place feels very private. We had a minor issue during our stay, but Mary communicates efficiently and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. We would definitely consider booking this place again!

The Moose Lodge was everything we hoped for and more! Our guests had a fantastic time and the environment was just what we were looking for! Off the beaten path and quiet! A true gem in the middle of the woods! I know a lot of guys were saying the only thing missing was a giant TV for ball games at night. I told them their phones will have to do but guys were saying they would rent this place in the winter for whiteface skiing and snowboarding! Thanks again! -Shamus

This is the perfect spot for a family get away. Everyone felt right at home- even kids and dogs :). The weather when we were there was Adirondack "unsettled" but the house had great space for playing with the kids, rocking on the awesome porch swing and, even in the rain, a safe private road for walking. Bob was super responsive with communication and questions. The house is super close to Saranac, Placid, hikes and paddles- if it wasnt " the days of covid" we would have spent time wondering more for sure.

Really happy with our stay. I have rented several houses in the Adirondacks over the years. This was a great one. Quiet and peaceful with lots of charm and character. The wrap around porch was the perfect spot to relax. About a 15-20 walk down the rail trail to breweries and restaurants.

Great place, tucked into the woods near Upper Saranac Lake. Private and beautiful; as advertised. Loved the community beach, short walk from the house. Bruce’s place was well stocked with supplies, easy to check in, with a flexible check out. We loved it and hope to be back! Thanks!

A quaint but spacious spot for individuals, families or a group. Beautifully maintained, and sits on a creek, which adds to the already serene atmosphere. Michaela was very helpful and responsive, and let me check in early. It was a really great place to stay

Wayne's place was nicer than the pictures conveyed in the listing. It was easy access for checking in. The furnishings are beautiful. I highly recommend having coffee on the front porch overlooking the lake in the morning. If you are looking for a classic Victorian stay in the Adirondacks, in the peaceful surrounds of Westport, look no further.

Just what we were looking for. A retreat to escape to, away from people, peaceful lake for lazy canoeing, BBQing while looking out at the mountains. the place isn't sterile so feels livable while not feeling cluttered. serious game night opportunities!

I absolutely loved staying here for the weekend. There is plenty of room and it’s the best location. It was perfect to be able to use the garage for our bikes we brought. The bike shop is also next store if we needed anything. I also loved how close the lake was. A hop skip and a jump to get there. The huge deck was fun to hang out with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back next year!

This is a beautiful, peaceful, and cozy mountain cabin with big windows, a fire place, and a lovely porch. We loved it. Moreover, it was within a short drive to Lake Placid, White Face Mountain, and numerous pristine hiking trails. We even got to Montreal for a quick peek, within two hours. We were lucky enough to have been blessed with a few inches of snow which decorated the pines, rivers and fields with winter magic. We had a great stay. Thank you John and Maria.

Very spacious, clean, comfortable. Bathrooms and amenities were perfect. This set my standards high for future ski cabins at this price range !

I stand by my review. The location was great, literally across the street from the arena. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Loved our stay
