Hotel vacation rentals in Lake Placid

Totally worth it! Just the view alone from this balcony is worth the price! Yuliia was responsive and the place was great, centric to everything and great decoration. I don't think I could have this amazing view in any of the other hotels or airbnb, definitely coming back!

Wonderful place right on mirror lake. Will definitely stay there in the future and recommend to friends. Location was perfect, everything within walking distance. Accommodations were great, spacious, and clean. Can’t wait to come back to Lake Placid and stay here again! One note is that the Lake Placid parking ticket crew is definitely out in force. I get one every year! 🥴 Be sure to follow parking instructions if you pay for parking. Even a ten minute lapse and you will find some paper on your windshield.

Very cozy room with eclectic furnishings and lighting. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. We even played a couple of records.

The place is nice and clean. I really appreciate Rob giving us a heads-up that the restaurant downstairs was temporarily closed for spring cleaning—thanks to that, we were able to bring some food with us, which was very helpful since we were travelling with a kid. Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay!

The Whiteface Suite is beautiful, spacious and private. If you’re a couple or a few friends, spend the extra money to stay here! It has a clean kitchen loaded with amenities and a huge TV with numerous things to watch. The host was very responsive and flexible. There is a self serve office with towels, soap, shampoo and it even has a little gift shop with free directories and cute mugs that can be billed to your room! It was the perfect stay for my guest and I, it felt like home. It has a peaceful water front. Loaded with canoes, kayaks and life vest if you want to get out on the lake. It’s so close to main street and walking is a fun way to explore the town . I would 100% recommend staying in this suite! Or at the placid bay hotel in general.

Short walk to Mirror Lake and the high street where there are a bunch of restaurants and shops! Room is clean and host is super friendly!

The Snowshoe Lodge was perfect for our brief stay in Lake Placid. We could walk to downtown on sidewalks. It snowed when we were there, and the sidewalks, stairs and parking lot were cleared right away. Also love that our dog could stay, too. We will definitely stay again if we’re in the area!

The home was in a perfect location! Close to all the main attractions of Saranac lake. We got to explore the other towns as well, all with in a 15-20 min drive! Parking was a breeze, the place was very clean and check in was easy. The fireplace and pool table was such a fun time after getting in from the cold. We would definitely choose to stay at Rebecca’s again!

What a treat it was to stay at NewVida preserve! My family and I had the pleasure of being a guest over the holiday weekend and we had so much fun! Beautiful grounds, comfy rooms, excellent restaurant on site, great views, nice beds, great amenities on site, the list goes on. I also appreciated how responsive and kind they were as hosts. We had a great time and hopefully we will be back soon!

Beautiful old building with lots of space if you have a larger group. We were in late and just for the night and was easy to get in and situated.

We had a great time dropping in for my sisters wedding, obviously a fantastic but stressful time!. Upon getting in we were warmly greeted and taken to our rooms. They were quiet and peaceful, heads up for people that usually watch tv upon getting in there was none! But that was actually a good benefit as it let us relax and enjoy the scenery. Sadly, we did run into one issue, with the shower head not having appropriate pressure or some type of blockage. Granted, we spoke to Rick and he immediately explained the issue clearly and concisely and encouraged us to check back if it wasn’t resolved, which was kind. The issue persisted but the tub did work so we had something. That is all to say, I would still gladly recommend this property. The benefits outweighed the singular drawback and the assistance and explanation showed knowledge and care. Looking forward to another trip one day!

We stayed in two bedroom suite for 3 nights and it was so comfortable and clean. Beautiful view from common outdoor area. Amazing restaurants with live music. Coffee , microwave, refrigerator was a plus. Totally worth it.

We had a lovely stay At Snowshoe number nine! It was within walking distance to the Lake Placid ice Arena. We were there for the ECAC hockey tournament. There were no problems with check-in or check out whenever I needed to talk with Austin he was quick to respond. We would go back here.

We have stayed at Prescott House many times over the years, and our stay this time was as wonderful as ever. Rebecca is an amazing host who communicated well and took great care of us. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet and clean. Our go-to place to stay in Saranac Lake.
