Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Placid

Enjoyed the lake house, view was as promised, so pretty. I worked remotely using the internet, video calls went great.

Great place to visit, house is very cozy with large windows in the living room. Loved watching the snow from the couch with a cup of coffee. Great place to go with kids, large backyard is a great place to them to play. Emily responded quickly to all my questions. Thank you , hope to come back next year.

This property was exactly what we were looking for for our low key bachelorette/girls weekend! Judi was fantastic about communicating with us about the best hiking trails, nearby activities, and most delicious local restaurants. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed including a beautiful kitchen with all of the essentials and more. The fire pit and hot tub were the icing on the cake. It was spacious, homey, and incredibly clean. We can’t wait to come back!!

We had a very great vacation at this place. Near to the WhiteFace mountain, the house has many accommodations (dishwasher, washer and dryer…). It was perfect for our family.

The Pond House was a great place to stay for a trip to Saranac, Placid, or the High Peaks region. The location is right on Moody Pond and is private, yet just a short drive away from town. Kelli was proactive in her communication and checking in/out was seamless.

Our stay at this enchanting Farmhouse in Lake Placid was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warmth and character of the beautifully renovated old farmhouse. Every detail of the renovation has been thoughtfully designed, effortlessly blending modern comforts with the farmhouse’s original charm and history. The setting itself is absolutely stunning!Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Adirondacks, the property felt like a peaceful sanctuary. Inside, we were greeted by cozy furnishings, inviting spaces, and a sense of home that made it hard to leave. The warmth of the hosts and the evident care they put into the space only added to the overall experience. It was a true joy to wake up each morning in such a beautiful place, feeling both relaxed and inspired by the surroundings. Very charming, cozy, clean, and quiet place. Everything we needed was available and well-organized. Checkin time was flexible so we were able to get in early and relax. Host and co-hosts were very helpful and responded to my messages quickly. Highly recommend the place. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Lindsey was great. She was actually there when we arrived making sure that everything was perfect. She was very accommodating and worked with me to make my family’s stay perfect for our schedule, as we needed early check-in and late check-out. The place was very clean and cozy. The decorating was very modern and sleek. The rooms were relaxing. My children loved it. She had air hockey, mini golf, a soccer game, along with many board games, and books for their use during our down time. The apartment overall was wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone, and we will be sure to return if in the area again.

Audrey’s Porcupine Farm Barn was the perfect place for us and our pup to get some respite from our day to day grind. With scenic vistas outside our window the space was an ideal blend of rustic and comfortable, and Audrey was around to answer any questions and assist us whenever we needed. We would absolutely stay again - and hopefully will soon!

a very nice and quiet place for me and my friends to relax! the river was sooo beautiful townake up to in the morning and we all made some s'mores by the campfire! right next to a nice restaurant and a Stewart's so we could even get everything we needed for the fire! would come back here again and thanks for letting us stay!

We had a great stay! We were in the area to do some hiking and Saranac Lake is centrally located. Sozo Stay’s place is just a couple Blocks from downtown so we could walk to restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

This Airbnb exceeded our expectations! The space is much larger than it looks in the photos, and it’s beautifully furnished with everything we needed—from comfortable furniture to a fully stocked kitchen. The location is also fantastic, just a short distance from the ski resort, making it super convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Brian’s place in Jay, NY. The apartment was clean, cozy, and located in a beautiful, peaceful area with a big green backyard—perfect for relaxing. It’s just a short drive to Lake Placid, the covered bridge, and Whiteface Mountain, with great breakfast spots only 5 minutes away. Brian was a responsive and welcoming host, greeting us at check-in and making sure we had everything we needed. This was a perfect base for exploring the Adirondacks, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Taylor & Drew were fantastic host. They were responsive with the few questions we had. The place was perfect for our group. All of the beds were VERY comfortable and we all felt very much at home. It was also very clean upon our arrival. We will definitely be looking to book their property again in the future.

Cabin was cute and just what we needed for our 3 night stay. The bed was very comfy, the bath towels were good quality and the shower was nicer than I was expecting for an older cabin. It was a bit cooler on our trip (rainy and low 60’s), so at night we just kept the window in the bedroom open (make sure to put the wood piece in to hold it up), but any warmer and we would have needed a fan. I can’t remember if the listing mentions AC or not, but I’m sure Calli has a solution for the warmer days. Calli was very responsive too, we appreciated that. Saranac Lake is so quaint, my husband and I loved just walking in and out of the shops. Blue Moon cafe had great breakfast and we bought a couple books from the Book Nook :) Also if you’re looking for a short (2hrs in total) moderately challenging hike with great views, try the Baker trail that is only 4 minutes away by car. Also there is a bike rental in town if you are interested in going car free for your trip!

This is a really beautiful location. The pictures are accurate but they don't quite capture the scale of the bay, lake, and peninsula. You're perched up on a hill or cliff and the birds-eye perspective makes for a great view. The owners are welcoming but respect your privacy. Ausable Chasm is definitely worth the visit. It takes several hours to explore the trails so keep in mind to bring some water. I found Keeseville the perfect place for a peaceful getaway, away from all the traffic and nonsense associated with our daily lives. There are a couple of good spots to eat in town and everything is about 10 minutes from the cabin. Lake Placid is about 45 minutes way if you're looking for other things to do. The drive up Whiteface Mountain is breathtaking and High Falls Gorge is nice, but the gorge pales in comparison to Ausable Chasm.

The cabin was great - super cozy and quiet. The hot tub looks out on a tranquil forest with lots of birds and deer. It was a great stay, highly recommended!

I only have great things to say about Christina’s place. The place was even better than the photos. As soon as I walked in, I remarked how cute it was. Christina communicated with me proactively and gave me a personal tour. She responded very promptly to communication and was lovely to talk to. Her place is serene and beautiful. I noticed a lot of thoughtful touches everywhere, including how the shower stall was built. (I 100% agree the shower head is amazing.) I enjoyed sitting by the brook and taking it all in. I was fortunate to have had the place to myself, but I cannot imagine there being any issues with another person or two there. Christina’s place was central to a lot of things I wanted to do in the area. I went on hikes and enjoyed delicious food. I would love to return this year.

This was our second stay at Marina's cabin as a family of 3. We feel so at home here and the location is wonderful and quiet. We enjoyed cooking meals and watching movies during the evenings when we came back from fishing and hiking. We will continue to visit Marina's cabin in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Sarah's Place. Great location - right between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Very easy to find. Clean, cozy, welcoming! It had everything we needed. The king bed was very comfortable. All was neat and tidy! Our dogs seemed to enjoy the space also - the sweet back porch and nice yard for dogs to explore were perfect for us. We didn't get to use the outdoor grill or fire pit - maybe next time!

Terrific stay at the Ice House. Everything was exactly as described.....nice and relaxing. I'd definitely like to come back and explore the property more next time.
