Tigh Na Mara is Gaelic for House by the Sea. This is an ideal location for visiting Edinburgh. The train station is 10 mins walk away and it's just 40mins to Edinburgh St Andrews can also be reached by train/bus connection. Shops, cafes etc are just 150m away. Bus stops for local conections, Edinburgh and St Andrews are just 50m away. The Beacon Leisure Centre with swimming pool, suna and gym is 5mins away at the beach. Burntisland Golf Course, the 10th oldest in the world, is open to visitors.

Dog friendly restaurants , cafes, pubs and art galleries all on our doorstep. Lovely long beaches in St Andrews and Elie only short drive away. The Fife 117 mile long coastal path goes past the bottom of our Wynd .

Bright, sunny apartment directly on the seafront in Kinghorn. Just 3 minutes walk from the train station and 35 minutes by train from Edinburgh, this is a delightful, relaxing retreat with access to the city still on hand. This was our second home and we have decided to open it up to airbnb. It has lots of home comforts including cosy beds, a comfy lounge with smart TV, fast wifi, large American Fridge, ice dispenser, microwave, washer dryer. Towels, bedding and essentials included.

The Studio at Shoreland
A peaceful studio in North Queensferry with magnificent views onto the UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge. Only a short steep walk uphill to the train station to Edinburgh and ON the Fife Coastal walking path. Nestled between the three Forth bridges you have the option of train, car or walking across to South Queensferry. Deep Sea World, The Wee Restaurant fine dining, Rankin's Cafe and the small Lighthouse Museum only a short walk away and there is a small shop near the station.

An entire private place (attached to our house) approx 25sqmtrs with your own entrance to a clean, tidy, well lit, self contained personal living space with comfortable sofa, mini kitchen/dining, through to a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, in addition the sunroom offers stunning panoramic views of Edinburgh and the river Forth. Bread, milk, cereal, butter, jam, coffee and tea are all provided along with kettle, toaster, microwave and mini fridge.

Unique restored historic WW1 gun emplacement complex situated on a high view point with a panoramic view across the water to Edinburgh and directly overlooking the lconic Forth Rail Bridge in the historic village of North Queensferry This king bed bunker is stylishly decorated and hosts a pool table and log burner. 25 minutes into Edinburgh City Centre on the train. 35 minutes to Murray field Stadium on the train and tram.

Weaver’s Cottage, built from stone probably in the 18th century (the main house dates from 1687) sits in a large south facing garden with direct access to the designated bathing beach and the Fife coastal path. Lovingly restored it’s a wonderful place to relax, swim, go for beach walks, gaze at the stars in front of a cosy fire pit.
