Lake house vacation rentals in Kentucky

My family and I have stayed at many AirBnBs. We all agreed this was by far the BEST one yet! Julie is extremely responsive and helpful! It was the perfect location for us (15 minutes from the Ark and 30 from the Creation Museum). The house was spotlessly clean, beautiful, so inviting and just completely stocked with every little thoughtful thing you could think of to make your stay great—tons of spices, basic cooking ingredients, fully stocked kitchen, s’mores basket, huge selection of tea, coffee and cocoa, blankets, beach towels, fishing gear, books (for kids and adults), games—you think “I wish we had…” it’s probably there!). The beds were SO COMFY, and my kids loved their bunks! We went on many kayaking adventures and fished daily right off the dock. We all loved the hot tub on the covered deck overlooking the river! It was so great that we added an extra day to our trip! The nice washer/dryer was a huge asset, as well! It really felt like home! Thank you, Julie! We will be back!

This location was an excellent base for exploring the sites along the Bourbon Trail. Its central location made it convenient, and it provided a peaceful, quiet environment in the evenings when relaxing on the deck. The home was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful updated home! Had high end appliances, tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Beds were super comfortable! Loved the great water pressure.Enjoyed the big screen tvs. Outside was very manicured. Enjoyed the big covered porch as it rained a lot. Big dock and fire pits with wood our favorite Saw an eagle salamanders and a toad. Thanks so much for having us! God bless! Jeff and Mike

Brooke's lake house was extremely clean, quiet and well-stocked for a fun weekend at the lake! Beds and furnishings were very comfortable! It was my first time to Lake Malone (a quick 90 minute drive from Nashville) and I would absolutely come again. It was a 20 minute drive to Lake Malone State Park, where there is a beach, hiking and of course the Big Twigs! The dock at the house was a perfect launching spot for the included kayaks (2 adult, 1 kid and 1 paddleboard) and for swimming! It was very hot when we were there, but the dock area at the house stays pretty shaded after noon, which was really nice. We also enjoyed the screened in porch with the two fans, a great place to still be outside but with some relief from the heat and humidity!

This is a nice place for a couple. There was plenty to keep us busy, but we also enjoyed lounging on the screened-in porch.

We stayed a week with our 3 adult children and 2 grandkids! The house was very spacious & the yard was private & quiet! It was a wonderful week spent on the lake and poolside! My favorite part was the views! The yard is situated so you can see the dock and the pool from the house. We were able to watch our grandkids at all times! Thanks for sharing your lovely home😀

We had a wonderful stay at Simply Sailing. great cabin with everything you could need. great covered area to a park boat with pull through driveway. 2 mins from boat ramp, and close to a gas station and a great little pizza place. 5 stars for us. We look forward to staying again.

Doc Holiday never disappoints. This is our third year for the family vacation of kids and grandkids. The view from the deck is outstanding. There are many steps down to the boat slip provided with the property. The steps are well maintained and have a railing all the way down. Only little challenging for me at 70 but it worth it to have our boat in the slip. Bedrooms are located on both the main floor and upstairs. Master suite is upstairs.

Great house for my friends and I. Fishing was a blast. House was very clean and a great space to hangout for the weekend. Kayaks and pool table were frequently used. Plenty of space for 10 guests and the kitchen was incredible. Definitely want to visit again!

It was the perfect house for our weekend getaway! The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly. The house was spacious, clean and was fully stocked! We couldn’t have picked a better house for our girls weekend!

Greg’s house was very beautiful and the view was even more beautiful. We enjoyed the lake view and the relaxing quiet atmosphere. We were very pleased with the amenities and the basic essentials to make our stay that much easier. Some highlights for us was the kayaks and bird watching. We definitely will stay again.

Michele was an amazing host. Her place is exactly as pictured and was everything I needed. During our stay, storms rolled through and we lost power for a bit. Michele was very responsive and helpful throughout. She kept me updated on when to expect power and apologized for the inconvenience. I would definitely stay at her place again and highly recommend it.

Perfect weekend stay. Spent most of our time on the upper deck viewing the lake. Lots of things to see, the owners have very thoughtfully supplied binoculars for this activity. Lots of bird and squirrel activity kept us busy and entertained. The home is wonderful and has all the amenities needed throughout. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Perfect location for visiting the various things to do in the area. Overall the location provides an awesome “on the lake” experience. Couldn’t ask for any better.

This was the perfect place for our two families to stay with the destination of The ARK Encounter/Creation Museum. It was very peaceful, beautiful view of the lake, amazing front porch to relax on. Would highly recommend this home to stay in. Rachael was extremely timely and helpful. Excellent customer service!

The place was everything we wanted ton our stay. Sarah was fantastic in responding to any of our questions. I would definitely stay here again!

We had such a blissful stay at Chad and Jessica's home - the place is done up in a very aesthetically pleasing way. The kids absolutely loved the loft area and didn't want to leave. The house is very well stocked and had delightful little touches like welcome chocolates and popsicles in the fridge for the kids! It is an hour's drive away from the Mammoth Caves National Park which we had come to visit. Would highly recommend the place to all visitors - it's one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in.

The house was perfect, the beds were soft and the host was very responsive. We would absolutely stay again, and our kids enjoyed the kayaking, fishing, and fireflies. The location was close to many distilleries and food options while also allowing a private peaceful experience. We were very pleased with our stay. The dock on the water was a big plus!

Beautiful place with lots of cool wildlife to see. The neighborhood boat ramp was perfect put in for our kayaks!

We had 12 guests, which included 4 children (ages 2-6). The place was clean, spacious and extremely accommodating. Pack n play & gate to protect kids near stairs was there. Anytime I had a question, the owner replied almost immediately. Our family came to Kentucky to visit the Ark and the house was close to everything we needed. Our entire family had a fun time playing games inside and making s’mores by the fire outside. Thank you for every single thoughtful accommodation! Whenever we come back to the Ark, we’ll remember this place and reserve again. Thank you 😊

We absolutely loved this place!! The owners went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a great stay. I enjoyed the location and the view from the kitchen. We hope to be back soon!
