Cottage vacation rentals in Kentucky

There is so much to say about this place. This was our second time to Spencer's cottage. We love that it is on the river. We enjoy watching the boats go by. There is so much to do in the area. This year we enjoyed horseback riding, crystal kayaking, and railroad pedal cars. During our stay we even booked another night as we were not ready to come home. The hot tub was great to come back to after our adventures. We spent most our time out on the large deck. The stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals.

Had a very nice time here, enjoyed the hot tub and watching T.V.

Wow. This place was absolutely beautiful! It was definitely amazing it! We loved this place so much it felt just like home and it was very peaceful! The dock was so fun to fish off of, lots of room on the dock as well so bonus in my book! We’ve caught lots of fish so fishing definitely wasn’t a problem, we caught 3 huge catfish within one hour! Everything was nicely cleaned, the instructions on everything were very easy to understand! The hot tub was definitely my favorite part! We will definitely be recommending/revisiting!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Home was exactly what we were looking for with our selection. Peaceful area with hiking near the home in the Taylorsville State Park.

We had a wonderful time staying at Jared’s cottage! Felt right at home! There was an issue with the hot tub but he had someone come out right then and there to take care of the issue. Very responsive and flexible!

Our stay was amazing! All accommodations were outstanding. It was our home away from home with our family for the entire weekend. Very peaceful, very clean, and a great view! Jeremy, our host, was very helpful and had a quick response to any questions we had. We have already planned to get this beautiful home again when we come back to the lake!

Not the best of circumstances to rent a place due to a funeral, but the place was perfect for our needs. Loved the house and location. James was very responsive when we had questions. Definitely will stay here again!

Jonathan's place was great. Loved the country setting. Amazing sunsets. We enjoyed visiting the cows and giving them treats. We would gladly stay again.

Great place to stay. Feel like you’re far away from town but it’s really not far. Very hilly terrain to get there but so beautiful.

This is a return trip for us. Super clean home. Comfortable for a weekend away and central to parks to hike and enjoy the surrounding beauty. Carolyn is kind and easy to contact before/during stay. Will be back.

We were just passing through, but this place was absolutely amazing!!! The decor is top notch!! Also, beds so comfy and loved that there was coffee available for that first cup in the morning!!!! For the pupper people, the back yard is nice and big, but it’s not fenced… just so you know….. otherwise, a perfect spot for a night or weeks!!!!!

This place is a little out of way, but so peaceful and beautiful scene. Very comfortable bed! Judith checked in a couple times via email to see if we needed anything, but we really had everything we needed. It was one of the best for us.

This was a great place for the kids. Kayaks were available with full equipment and life jackets. The fish were biting. Donny kept in touch quickly. They had a ball.

What a sweet place! Very peaceful. Lots of birds and critters to see. It suited my daughter and I very well. Beds are comfy - futon, too. We enjoyed ourselves and would come back.

This place was amazing! Beautifully decorated! I messaged to let them know we were in town. It was still a couple hours before check in and she said we could go ahead and check in. We had things we were going to do before hand. 20 minutes later a big storm came through so we headed to the cottage. I know that's something small but it was super handy. A+

We stayed at Harry's cottage during a challenging weekend in Kentucky due to a severe storm that left us without electricity. Despite the circumstances, Harry was an exceptional host, communicating promptly and doing everything possible to ensure our comfort. The cottage was impeccably clean and felt warm and welcoming. We will definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for four of us ladies who were enjoying a girls weekend. Highlights for us: we enjoyed breakfast on the beautiful porch, loved the peaceful surroundings, and thought the beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean and the host was helpful and responsive.
