03- Abi's Arboreal Abode & Hammock Haven Tree-Yurt

KarenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We brought our 2 young grandsons to stay in the Abi treehouse yurt to "unplug" from all electronics, internet and cell phones for the weekend. Boys are ages 10 & 6 and absolutely loved staying in the treehouse yurt, playing yard games such as football, disc golf, cornhole, hillbilly golf, playing on the swings and walking on the trails and creek bed! They actually thought the "outhouse" was pretty cool too! The shower house offered hot showers and clean commodes. Their community kitchen for the guests to use has much to offer! Their 100 acre farm in the holler is a beautiful place to "unplug" from the world and relax by the creek. Knowing they have a landline to use for emergency purposes is great since there is NO cell phone signal in the holler. Nathan and Jessa are GREAT hosts who make sure their guests have everything they need for their stay.. Their dogs are friendly and loved walking the trails with us! Great place to stay and we will return in the future for sure!

Eagles Nest Treehouse

PaytonRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Great place for my kids and me to get away for the weekend. Had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was nice to be away from electronic distractions and be able to bond with my kids in the outdoors. We were able to have a little fire, and hang out under the treehouse to play games at night. It was a short walk to Martin’s Fork, which has some really cool trails. We had a fun time hiking, exploring and spending time together. Would recommend to anyone looking for a similar experience.

This place was such an experience and I fell in love with it! I would recommend anyone outdoorsy to check this place out as it is very much a tree house so say goodbye to traditional luxury like electricity (for the most part) and running water. regardless this is absolutely one of my favorite stays in my 6 years of being on this app. Located by soo many beautiful trails and etc. Definitely would repeat and recommend! i hope everyone falls in love with it like I did

Absolutely beautiful, serene and private home! Perfect for my husband and I. Very clean and had everything needed. Would definitely stay again to enjoy the peace… outdoor fire pit area, comfy swing and chairs and overall outdoor activities nearby at Red River Gorge. Miguel’s Pizza was a hit too as well as the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop. Thank you for hosting us!

Bungalow

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We wanted to backcountry camp, but the weather was looking bad. This was the next best thing, the good parts of a tent (being close to a fire pit, feeling the open air, surrounded by trees) but with a roof over your head. We really enjoyed our time, and the location is also great. It is right at Martin's Fork trailhead which takes you up to the ridge trails.

This was a perfect get away for my wife and me!! The cabin was beautiful, cozy, private and just all around perfect for us. The property around the cabin was absolutely gorgeous!! If you enjoy a country setting, then this is a perfect place to be. The host Linda was outstanding to us. She made our stay absolutely delightful. As my wife and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary, she added just a few subtle touches to make our stay absolutely memorable and perfect!! We will absolutely be back to this cabin or any cabin Linda has to offer!! It was a true pleasure and blessing to find this place and have the opportunity to visit here. Thanks again Ms. Linda for an amazing experience!!!

Cozy Cabin in Red River Gorge

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Quaint, well-appointed cabin off the beaten path! An awesome location for a great weekend get away from the hustle and bustle. Alec was very communicative and his directions were spot on in finding the place despite finding ourselves on a few gravel roadways. The cabin had everything needed for two, but would easily have accommodated the whole family. The cabin could sleep up to 6 if a couple of the kids are small. A great stay overall!

Cliffline Twilight*WOW*Hot tub! Pet Friendly!

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Everything about this cabin was great. The views taking the #1 spot, the location, the hikes that are close (except we couldnt access behind the cell tower, too many trees down right now). We drove a 2wd car, made the trek just fine! I read many reviews before we came, was sketched about the drive & driveway, but it wasnt a problem. They have paved the sides of the driveway now, so you dont have to worry about that. It was clean, cute, & had everything we needed in the kitchen, laundry, & bath. The fire pit on a cliff is not for the faint of heart, or the drunk. The hot tub was CLEAN, looked & smelled clean, it felt so nice, the cliff view is beautiful lit up, & there is good lighting on the path at night. bring a fan for whoever has to sleep in the loft, it gets hot up there. there was a TV in the loft & i think a lil DVD player, there is no wifi but our Hotspot/data worked SOMEtimes, basic cell service was good.

02 - Treetop Flyer Treehouse

BenjaminRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Staying in a treehouse was not something that we thought when we went on our little vacation, but we’re so glad that we found this listing and had a very memorable one night stay. All of the details are very helpful in the listing and in the communications after booking. It is a legit treehouse! We have three kids, and we had a wonderful time. We went on a hike into the woods on the property, enjoyed the games in the common areas, and had a very restful night sleep.

This was such a fun weekend getaway! Very close to a variety of different trails which are all gorgeous. The cabin was well kept and secluded, which I loved as I did bring my dog with me and he was free to hang on the porch with no worries. Bugs were a little bit of an issue during my stay but you are in the woods, so if you plan on going during the warm months just be aware you may see a few ants. We loved the Daniel Boone coffee shop, they had many options for food + treats. Overall a very great experience and I will definitely be coming back.

Kentucky Breeze Treehouse

TammieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great time. There was nothing that we needed during our stay that wasn't already there. It's amazing what all you can get in a tiny house without it looking cluttered. We especially loved the garage door concept. We enjoyed our dinner with it open one night and sat on the screened porch while we ate. BTW...we had an extra surprise. We had a beautiful deer greet us upon arrival. Very close to many of the hiking trails.
