Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. 「Tabitabi Taishi」 remodeled from a traditional Japanese-style [Machiya]. It is designed with a lot of hand-dyed Japanese style Tang paper, wallpapers made of tin and gold foils, and other traditional Japanese crafts and elements. We also retain the original properties of the machiya. Here, you can experience the original and traditional Japan, and also you can feel the ingenuity of combining modern elements with traditional craftsmanship.

小豆島　海まで30秒　どの部屋からも海が見える

小豆島町の静かな海辺に建つ一軒家です。 海と夕陽を眺めて黄昏れる為だけに建てた家です。その為テラスの階段の段数が多く大変申し訳ございませんが決してバリアフリーとは呼べません。（荷物のお手伝い等出来るだけのことは対応させていただきます） ですが、高いテラスを登った先には瀬戸内のキラキラ輝く穏やかできれいな海と毎日顔を変える茜色の夕空が待っています。 是非、時間を忘れ非日常をご堪能ください。 室内にはテラスの階段を登って入ります。バリアフリーではありません。 小さなお子様か階段を登り降りする際は必ず大人の方がお付き添いください。 また、雨の日は階段が多い為ご不便をかけるかもしれません。 また、宿前の道路は舗装されていません。 ご不便をかけるかもしれませんが、ご了承下さい。 宿の周りは自然が多いため、どうしても虫がでます。窓や扉の開閉時に虫が一緒に入ることがあります。（特に夜は宿の明かりに虫が集まります）大変申し訳ございませんが、虫が苦手な方は宿泊をご遠慮ください。
