A home away from home in the beautiful and tranquil hills of North East Kyoto. Here you can relax and enjoy this enchanting city, famous for its heritage, nature and cuisine. 40 minutes from JR Kyoto station, 20 minutes from the centre of Kyoto city. You can easily access historical sightseeing spots eg.Ginkakuji (The Silver Temple) and Tetsugaku no Michi (the Philosopher's path), as well as many other places, on foot, by bicycle, or city bus. We are located on the side of the mountain, so it's very picturesque with lots of nature in the surroundings, particularly beautiful in Spring and Autumn. Japanese, English and little French are spoken. We can offer advice on places to visit and other entertainment. Please book at least 1 week in advance.
