Apartment vacation rentals in Iceland

Somewhat of a unique apartment as it's at the end of a retail building, but great location across the street from Netto grocery and walkable to restaurants. Nice, quiet community/harbor town. Unit was very clean with the basics (beds, table & 4 chairs). Overall the unit worked well for our purpose as we we were exploring during the day, out to dinner in the evenings and used it primarily for sleeping/showering. We were without hot water our first night due to an area wide outage (out of host control) but luckily service was restored by the morning. Definitely recommend the attached shop which has knitted wool & other items handmade by locals.

A lovely stay - the apartment was cosy, peaceful, spotless, and easy to find and check into. Would definitely visit again!

I don't know where to start. We were tired from an overnight flight and when we got to the apartment we felt so relaxed. Disa is a wonderful hostess and it was such a pleasure to have several conversations with her. She is so energetic and friendly. Skagafell was so comfortable to be in. Phenomenal bed, plenty of hot water and very nice temperature inside. Several times we saw horses go through and saw several herds as we approached our place. You can't go wrong renting this unique place.

The stay more than met our needs and expectations. It is conveniently located to a few waterfalls. We would recommend this unit to others.

Awesome host. Whenever I had a question about anything she responded in under an hour. Would definitely return! House is right in downtown and super easy to access.

A small but great private space that has everything you need, including easy use of a jacuzzi with an amazing view of the surroundings, and the stars at night. We even saw some northern lights!

The place is just beautiful. The view, the surroundings, the furnishings. Our stay here could not have been better.

This apartment is very large, has great amenities (including a much needed washer & dryer!) and was very comfortable. The view from the apartment of the bay was amazing. It comes with a parking space! Beate was such a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend this apartment.

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

This place is every bit as incredible as the pictures show. Benjamin has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and welcoming as your own home. The location is great and everywhere is easily walkable. Entry to the property was a little difficult but easy as soon as we realized the key turns to the left and not the right as we are used to. Thanks so much Benjamin, we had a wonderful end to our Icelandic adventure in your home.

Very cozy stay! Exactly as advertised. Very quiet and relaxing.

We stopped for one night on our ring road trip. We would have enjoyed staying longer! This was a wonderful spot for our family of four - peacful, quiet, and had everything we need. The washer and drier worked perfect (sometimes driers don't really dry... but this one worked great!), there was coffee, and the beds were comfortable. Only a couple of steps to get in, and the entrance and instructions were super easy to follow. There's a grocery store very closeby for food and a nice pizza place nearby as well. The view from the outside space, which is a nice outdoor covered stone balcony on the first level, is really nice - overlooking a field and some landscape in the distance. Really a nice, sweet place to stay. Parking is shared but there were spots available every time we pulled up, right by the door to the building. We would definitely say again!

Great location, easy walk to everything you need. Charming decor, very comfortable and clean.

We stayed 2 nights on Viktoria’s farm. It was a peaceful and relaxing location; comfortable and clean. We enjoyed bird watching and walking on the trails. We were able to make breakfasts and dinner easily with what’s available. Beds were very comfortable as well. Overall a lovely place to stay. Good location for day trips to Dragsnes and Holmavik. There is also a hotel close by that had excellent dinner.

This is a great place to stay for exploring Reykjavik and surrounding areas! The apartment is small and cozy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the view of the bay and the ability to enjoy the late sunsets. There are a few great restaurants just steps from the apartment and it’s very close to a grocery store. The apartment can be a tiny bit noisy from traffic if you have the window open, but when it’s closed you don’t hear much at all. Overall, we loved our stay and would stay there again!

Absolutely amazing! If i get rate this place higher i would. Pictures dont do it justice. The landscape here is breath taking and the house was very very well done! Even met one of the hosts on our walk to breakfast.

Perfect location for visiting the area

We stayed 3 nights in the apartment. The location is very nice, great view from the hot tub. The children enjoyed the time with the great, very child-friendly dog. 20 minutes from Akureyri. We spent one day in the beautiful Diamond Circle and at Myvatn, the other for whale watching in Husavik. The apartment is highly recommended.

We stayed here two nights, and it fit our needs perfectly. It was conveniently located as a mid point between Húsavík and Mývatn, which allowed us to visit each on different days. Although it's a small kitchen, we found it very useful, and it had everything we needed to make breakfast twice and supper once. The apartment was a good amount of space for the three of us, and we are glad we stayed here.

Fantastic location on a fun shopping street. The apartment is roomy and clean and perfect for our family of 4. This was an excellent place to spend a few nights. We would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous place. So peaceful. The hot-tub was wonderful and spacious, kitchen was great and the location is amazing. Linda's instructions on how to find the place were really useful as g******map was not completely accurate. Not cheap but that's Iceland; good value. Recommend highly. Thanks.

We had a great visit, and we loved this Airbnb! It was conveniently located, and it had plenty of space for our family of five! We would most definitely stay here again!

The place was exactly as described. The tub is huge. The shower will make you want to go home and remodel. The location is great. The price is reasonable. We would stay here again.

Jolanta, the host, has amazing vibes. She makes you feel right at home and is so personable and caring. That being said about my favorite host to date: her accommodations are pristinely clean. The apartment/condo is very comfortable and perfect for our family of five. The beds were lovely and the black out curtains allowed for a restful sleep. I saw a rainbow outside at 12:00 am! With a gorgeous and private back deck, the hot tub is filled with the same water that comes from the Blue Lagoon. It is invigorating and repaired our travel weary bodies. I look forward to booking with Mrs. Jolanta again. Iceland is magnificent!
