We had great time this this house. Golden circle and main attractions from south Iceland are accessible from this place. It is on nice quite area with beautiful views of snow covered mountains and sunset. Kitchen is well equipped if you plan to cook. We loved our stay.

We loved the cabin- very peaceful, super well equipped, fantastic hot tub. It was a great base for all the Goldeb Circle highlights. Kristinn was a helpful and responsive host. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely!! The house is so precious and clearly very loved. The interior was homey and cozy and the location was beautiful. My friend and I were able to drive to tons of amazing natural wonders with ease. The farther away spots were also worth it as the drive was beautiful. The amenities are exactly as promised and the beds were amazing to come back to after a long day. Would definitely stay again! It was a little hard to find the first time, since it was dark out, but in the light and getting familiar with the area, it was easy to find :) Lovely hosts and lovely home!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very homey and comfortable. We appreciated the convenience of a well supplied kitchen. Our host was very thoughtful and friendly. She has awesome instructions. A bonus is that Godafoss is so close! We were very happy with everything about this place.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place with a great view thats quiet and peaceful. We stayed here for 4 days on a girls trip and it was everything we wanted-- being able to unplug and disconnect was fantastic. The hosts were super responsive and provided lots of easy to follow instructions for check-in/out and during out stay answered any questions we might have.

This is such a beautiful place to stay. It has everything you need at the cabin and more. It is warm and cosy and such a relaxing place to come back to after full days out exploring Iceland. Alfa and Finnur were very helpful with quick responses to any questions we had as well as useful pre holiday advice. The beds were comfy and the cabin and clean and tidy inside and out. The decking area was a lovely place to sit and relax and listen to the birds. We will be recommending to friends and family

Had an amazing stay here! The cottage is in a very peaceful location but still close to the Route 1 main road along the south coast, so it's very convienent. The whole place was very clean and hosts we're so friendly. We loved the artwork and all the pictures of their dogs! The curtains also really helped keep out the midnight sun so we slept very well!

Stoma’s cottage was a lovely home to come back to after a day exploring. It was warm, cosy and comfortable. The hot tub was particularly welcomed!

The yellow house on Hrísey is possibly my favourite place to stay anywhere in Iceland. Bjorgvin is the most amazing host and nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had the best stay for my birthday trip. The setting is spectacular, the best views possible to have from a hot tub!! The island is gorgeous and it was wonderful seeing all the birds. We also had the best weather which helped - but I cannot imagine having a bad stay here, whatever the weather. This was a return trip as we´d loved it so much in the winter and I hope it won´t be our last!! An absolute delight!

The cottage is a real beauty. Located in a small forest its a perfect, cozy retreat. It has everything needed, we felt at home. Away from busy roads, but still conveniently located to visit Akuteyri, Husavik or the Myvatn-Region. Would absolutely book again if we hopefully come back to that region somewhere in the future.

This cottage is precious! It’s just 5 minutes outside of town so conveniently located, and the grocery store is also 5 minutes away. The directions provided made it very easy to find. Our favorite experience was sitting on the back deck on the couches with wine watching the sunset around 10-11 pm! Also, hearing the birds chirping was a delight. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking to explore the South coast, Golden circle, or ferry to Westman Islands. Would definitely stay again!

It is a realy nice and lovely decorated cottage in the middel of the forest. We felt right at home. If you like to be a little bit upside of all and have your peace it's the perfekt place. Thanks a lot.

The views from your rooms and terrace are amazing! The houses look small but can easily accommodate 3 or 4 people with a tiny but functional kitchen full of modern amenities

Our stay was short but so memorable—we immediately felt at home. The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the sea and Snæfellsnes on a clear day. The birdlife was incredible, with ducks, Arctic terns, and eiders all around. We loved the peaceful setting and the cozy campfire right by the house. Though the home is older, it’s been thoughtfully renovated and felt fresh and bright. The loft was a fun touch (just be mindful of the steep stairs), and being just 10 minutes from the airport made it super convenient. A perfect spot for nature lovers!

Veronika’s place was lovely! Perfectly isolated but only a short drive to shops. It was a beautiful area with horses nearby and easy access to other sights in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula! Would stay there again!

Look no further if staying on the Snæfellsnes peninsula! The Stóri-Kambur cottage will provide an excellent rest and is close to both Snæfellsjökull National Park and Grundarfjörður. I will say, the peace experienced on the back porch, sipping tea, and listening to the crash of distant waves cannot be conveyed, only experienced. It was lovely. Also, if you can, schedule more time to enjoy horseback riding with the host. We would have loved to have been able to do this... next time!
