Big room in old west end, 5 min to city center

JiříRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Very friendly owner. We met only her sons, but they showed us around and gave us enough privacy adterwards. Our part had its own toilet, but kitchen and shower was shared. For us its no big deal, also we didnt met them that much - only thing that some people could mind is that the shower is quite far - through half the house. But we were ok with that. Otherwise, location is perfect - very nearby to centre and also situated on the outskirt, which makes is very noise-free for bedtime. Owners also left some snacks for us, which we didnt expect. There was a wifi and enough plugs all around and lot of space in living room. Overall it was nice stay in nice Icelandic suburbian house. Thank you again.
A wooden deck features a large, octagonal jacuzzi surrounded by a privacy wall of vertical wooden slats. The jacuzzi is positioned next to a smaller, covered tub, both set against a backdrop of gray skies and trees.

Central townhouse with charm and character

CarinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great spot in a neighborhood so you can truly experience more of a local scene. We felt very at home in this space and enjoyed all that the home has to offer! We have twin 7 year olds, so the outdoor space for us was a nice bonus. We walked to an amazing bakery (Hygge) a few times and were able to walk to all other locations from here. The kitchen space is a dream and we used it for a few meals. Highly recommend this cozy stay!
A well-lit room features a bunk bed alongside a spacious bed, both dressed in crisp white linens. A wooden dresser and a chair are positioned near a window, offering natural light. The flooring is a warm, wooden texture, contributing to a cozy ambiance.

Room with shared facilites 4 person

SandraRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The room was clean and warm, the bathrooms were clean, the kitchen was well equipped, however I think for the number of rooms there should be more than just one shower. Also the kitchen was full of people so it was hard to cook something there. But overall it was good for one night stay

Spacious house in nice surroundings

Had a great stay. Was nice to have a hot tub. Located in a complex but felt very private. Easy to get to the city and areas we wanted to explore. Would plan on making meals when in Iceland as food was very expensive.
An aerial view showcases a landscaped courtyard surrounded by two-story townhouses. Lush greenery and decorative flower beds accent the space. A secure outdoor play area is visible, featuring a play structure. The urban setting is complemented by neighboring buildings in the backdrop.

Hidden Townhouse Treasure in central Reykjavik

CaylaRating, 5 stars33 months ago
P's place is so comfortable and very roomy for a place in Iceland. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd need to make a full meal. The beds are very comfortable! You might find that this place is just a little further from town than most other Airbnbs in Reykjavik, but the location is actually perfect! It's very close to the bus stop, grocery store, coffee shops, and only takes about 10 min by foot to get to Hallgrimskirkja and other must see locations in Reykjavik. It was easy to communicate with P with any questions or concerns we had. I would stay here again and recommend that others stay here as well.

The perfect house in Iceland!

LauraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a wonderful week-long stay in Sigga’s home. It had the perfect configuration for our family of five so everyone could have their own private space. We loved the neighborhood that had a cosy cafe and delicious bakery just down the street. The local pool was also a short walk away. There was a parking space for our rental car and it was an easy drive downtown. We took many day adventures outside of the city and it was so nice to come back to a home base every night. Thank you so much for sharing your home, Sigga!!

My family of 5 enjoyed a lovely stay at Burns’s beautiful home. The house was immaculate with modern design. Birna was a great communicator and always quick to reply to any questions we had. The townhouse is in an upscale neighborhood with beautiful views, even distant views of the ocean. The location was an ideal spot for day trips to the Golden Circle and the South Coast. We will definitely be back- thank you for the lovely stay!

Family home, 10 min to center, 30 min to volcano

DavidRating, 5 stars23 months ago
This home was beautiful, modern and very practical for five adults with two bathrooms, each with a shower, though the showers were a bit small. Also worth noting for summer travelers is that two of the bedrooms do not have blackout shades, so bring eye masks. The location was great, very convenient for trips out of Raykjavik, and great parking, too. Very close to a supermarket, bakery and a nearby mall. Anna Karen was EXTREMELY responsive, flexible and helpful. When we had a small issue, she immediately had someone come out to resolve it. My whole family was very happy with this home! You will be, too.

The hostel is very well maintained, quiet, and has great amenities. The kitchen and dining room was perfect for the full house of guests with multiple stoves, sinks, refrigerators, utensils, etc. The rooms were very quiet and beds were comfortable. There was a sink in the room, toilet/shower down the hallway, and a window that could be opened.

Luxury duplex near Icelandic nature

MatthewRating, 5 stars7 months ago
It was a nice place where it appeared it had been lived in and felt like home. I imagine it might feel to much to some but was helpful to us. Many of the listing's in the area appeared sterile/minimalist. The location of the house enabled us to easily visit the city (15 minutes) and travel to the north area. Only critique would be the lack of a freezer.

Renovated well located Townhouse in Reykjavík

ZhuliRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a wonderful stay and Steingrimur was very friendly and responsive. His place is a 5 min walk to Ártún busstation which gets you in 20 min to town. Very convenient. The only challenge was that my father could not go up the attic sleep room because of the steep ladder, but he was able to sleep on the sofa bed downstairs so everything was fine. It is something to keep in mind if you have old people or children in your group, but other than that this house was the perfect stay. A very generous and kind host, and a wonderful home. Thank you and we hope to come back soon!
A communal garden area is seen, featuring low shrubs and patches of grass. Townhouses with multiple windows and doors line the background. Children are playing on the pathway, while adults converse nearby, creating a lively yet serene outdoor atmosphere.

We enjoyed so much staying at Sólrún place, we felt at home in a second. There is a spirit in her home, a living place. The size and design of the house was perfect for the 4 of us and the neighborhood was very nice and friendly. It feels like having a great quality of life and a real family life style. It was walking distance from downtown a few blocks away from a large bus station. I would warmly recommend without any hesitation.
A bright living area features two comfortable, rounded chairs facing a glass table, set on a patterned area rug. Large windows allow natural light to fill the space, offering views of the ocean and coastline while a green plant adds a touch of nature.
