Cabin vacation rentals in Iceland

The location was beautiful and private with amazing views from the cabin and hot tub. We loved looking at the unobstructed views of the fjord from the hot tub, which stayed plenty hot even with colder than expected weather. The cabin was clean and was very comfortable and felt spacious for 2 people. I would absolutely recommend staying here, we had an amazing time

We booked the hut for the private geothermal hot tub and although it takes 1-2 hours to fill it was absolutely amazing! We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet, there is nothing else than a nice view and smell of pine with the sound of some birds around.

Loved the location, the views and all the amenities available. It was a perfect place for the two of us, cosy and had all we needed and more. Only thing I'd recommend to take with you, that we forgot, would be slippers.

The cabins sit on a road away from where reception is, and the instructions were clear to get there. The hot tub does take a while to fill up, since it is filled with geothermal spring water, but it is definitely a must in Iceland. Relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and traveling the Golden Circle was a perfect ending.

Incredible stay. From the cabins, you can see the mountains in the distance. They are very modern. We mistakenly took the cabin with the two twin beds (pushed together) but they were comfortable regardless. My son and his fiancée enjoyed the double. The pillows and mattress were great. The ability to go up to the sauna and geo thermal pools was amazing. We enjoyed using them and not going to a public one. Watching the sun set into twilight for the evening from the spa was fantastic. Plus we went every day instead of needing to drive somewhere. There is a cooktop and appropriate cookware. The refrigerator was nice to have since you should bring some food for your stay. We were only 20 minutes from the fancy Hotel Ranga which we also highly recommend. Horse lovers rejoice! They are right there and friendly. The pregnant mares across the way were having babies each night! We would definitely come again.

This home is even prettier in person. The summer landscape had beautiful green hills and purple flowers. The outside has been recently updated which really stood out among the surroundings. The hot tub was a great feature, at first we thought it might not be hot enough, but once we got in with the cool weather and windy breeze, it was perfect. The location is great for exploring and hiking. The wool sweaters, hats etc. were very nice and well made. Our Iceland trip has been so much fun, and this AIRBB was a great choice!

Elsa was so helpful in recommending a route with lots of scenic stops on the way to the house! Their two cats were a joy to spend time with. We enjoyed the hot tub at sunset and Elsa’s fresh baked bread in the morning before heading back on the road. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay for 5 days in the cottage. The landscape was breathtaking, the photos do not do it justice! The cottage is equipped with everything we could possibly need, and very easy to get to by car. The outside hot tub with geothermal water was a lovely feature and fills up quickly. Within an hour or two from the biggest touristy places which was nice. We will definitely be back!

This place was peaceful, gorgeous, and exactly what I was looking for. The view was amazing, centrally located near both the golden circle and restaurants and amenities in selfoss. Sigrun and Sigurdur were wonderful hosts. The little stream chuckling beside the place was lovely. I would stay here again.

Was a very cozy and clean cabin! Beautiful surroundings and relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down after a long drive. Staff were very kind and made check in very easy. Look forward to our next visit!

Our son absolutely adored getting to see all the animals during our stay! We stayed in blue cabin and it felt secluded with all the greenery around it. The light blocking curtains worked great during the long summer days.

Such a beautiful setting and comfortable stay. I wouldn't change a thing about this place! There are four waterfalls within an hours drive of this place that you don't need to hike to in order to view (highly recommend all of them). If you plan on doing any outdoor activities that require towels, I'd recommend picking some up at the nearby convenience store (about 15min away) as there are only two. Also, the kitchen already had some cooking oil and spices, which was a nice surprise :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this serene cabin. The views were gorgeous and the property is dreamy. There is clear evidence for attention to detail and the bathrobes and slippers are a lovely touch. The Mývatn area was easily accessible from this property. I would love to stay here again!! 5/5 🌟. Lovely little cottage in the moorlands. Felt very homey and private. It had everything we needed in addition to many cute little touches throughout, including fresh eggs, binoculars, a stuffed dog for me to cuddle when I’m missing mine on vacation. Host lives nearby and was very friendly and responsive. It was the perfect spot for our time spent exploring south Iceland. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this place for two nights ( 3 adults and 1 kid). It is very well equipped, you'll find everything you need for grilling or regular cooking. Views are breathtaking, and if you're lucky with the weather you can just chill outside and enjoy the fresh air. Hosts were very friendly and quickly answered all our questions. Instructions are perfect. One thing to note - if you use google maps, don't put the address there, use the coordinates. Address is correct, but google maps directs you to wrong location ( though, not far from correct place ).

Truly the prettiest Air BnB - the views are absolutely stunning, they are incredible, and the cabins are completely new, nicely furnished and very clean. The host sent us a kind welcome message before we arrived, giving us all the information needed. Such a calm and serene experience, fully recommend!
