A charming farmhouse stands against a backdrop of expansive blue skies and scattered clouds. Green fields surround the property, featuring two Icelandic horses grazing peacefully nearby. The farmhouse, painted in a light hue, is complemented by a distant orange structure, blending harmoniously with the rural landscape.

By the Light House.

The most gorgeous place we’ve stayed at. I wanted the true Icelandic experience and scenery and we got exactly that! We loved the chickens and dog on the farm, beautiful and relaxing views from the balcony, and well equipped apartment. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming with cake and fresh eggs waiting for us. 100% recommend!

New top floor apartment on a sheep farm .

AliciaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This place is amazing! We stayed early January in freezing temperatures and it was simply magical. Incredible views and a very homely house. We watched the northern lights in the evening and in the morning we went out for a walk on the farm which was well worth it. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking to experience rural Iceland.

Bright penthouse on the main street

PashaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Great location right in the middle of the Main Street, easily walkable to all the popular spots in the city. Being in the middle of the main area was a bit loud at night with the bars directly below but that was expected. Overall a great experience
An open living area features a spacious brown sectional sofa, inviting seating arrangements, and a dining table set for six. Soft lighting enhances the intimate atmosphere. A doorway leads to private bedrooms, while vintage decor adds character to the space.

A Perfect Stay in Reykjavík! This apartment exceeded all expectations! It’s beautifully designed, cosy, and equipped with everything you could possibly need—down to the smallest details like a sewing kit and slippers. The kitchen is a dream, fully equipped for any kind of cooking. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the sea for stunning sunrise and sunset strolls, and close to a bakery and food shop for convenience. Ísak and his partner Dóra are incredible hosts—super attentive, welcoming, and always available to answer questions. They greeted us warmly and made sure we felt right at home. The apartment is immaculate, and the area feels incredibly safe, making it perfect for families, groups, or even solo travellers. I can’t recommend this place enough and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Ísak, for making our Reykjavík visit so memorable. You truly deserve to be a super host!

Modern villa - exceptional place

A great place to stay when visiting the northern fjords. It is located in a very quiet location with beautiful nature views all around. Very peaceful and relaxing, a great way to disconnect from the busy city and get some quiet time. This house made it great for site seeing all the locations around the north fjords and a quick drive into Isafjador for dining and groceries.

Ólafur's apartment is a dream in the center of Reykjavik! It is large, spacious, very clean, superbly equipped (including the kitchen), very cozy and warm. You immediately feel at home. Communication was great and the surroundings quiet yet centrally located. The city center can be reached on foot or regularly and quickly by bus lines. Free street parking was also always available. Warmest recommendation! ☺️

Amazing Penthouse with a Loft

MollyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Neighborhood charm just a short drive from the city center. I previously stayed in the city center and chose to be in a more established neighborhood this summer. The difference is immense quiet and peaceful surrounds. It takes just minutes to get wherever you want to go downtown from here. And it’s just a quick walk to the local Braud and Co (and their famous cinnamon rolls) or to stop at the gourmet market Melabúđin) and a nice coffee shop/cafe. In nice weather you are close to an outdoor pool as well. The flat is spotless and you are clearly a guest in a real home. For us that was perfect. Everything is charming and well chosen. We had a wonderful stay. It us important to recognize if you are not planning on a nice, quiet stay you may be more noise than this neighborhood is used to- so be purposeful in your selection.
The bathroom features a clean and modern design, with a white tiled shower area and a bathtub. A bright window allows natural light in, showcasing a small potted plant. A sleek vanity with a mirror and neatly organized storage complements the neutral color palette.
