Great area and cottage to end our Iceland trip at. Very nice spot and super quiet to wind down and enjoy the sights before flying home!Very private and great amenities.

Cute and cozy cabin in a beautiful valley. The hot tub by the river looks amazing, too bad we didn’t have time to try it out. Daniel sent us clear instructions and was very friendly when we met in person.

Great location!

Such a beautiful setting and comfortable stay. I wouldn't change a thing about this place! There are four waterfalls within an hours drive of this place that you don't need to hike to in order to view (highly recommend all of them). If you plan on doing any outdoor activities that require towels, I'd recommend picking some up at the nearby convenience store (about 15min away) as there are only two. Also, the kitchen already had some cooking oil and spices, which was a nice surprise :)

Beautiful surroundings with sheep’s and horses. Cosy room which felt like home.

We stayed for three nights and found the place to be very comfortable for two people for that length of stay. Very efficiently designed unit and a fully stocked kitchen for four people. It's in a great central spot for exploring the Golden Circle and the South Coast. The farm is very convenient for the ring road. The building is a duplex and we never heard the other renters in the space next door at all, so it seems to be well insulated for sound. We really enjoyed watching the horses on the farm and all the birds that flew in to the small river next to the rental. The farm cat will insist on saying hello every day, adorable!

Our family loved staying in this remote cabin in spring. Very cosy and intimate, even if a bit run down. We climbed the mountain cliff nearby with our kids and enjoyed wonderful views over the moors and the mountains.

We felt very comfortable in the small cottage. It was very cozy and warm even when the storm was raging outside. The location was great. Quick to the Golden Circle and the south coast and you could also see the Northern Lights very well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this serene cabin. The views were gorgeous and the property is dreamy. There is clear evidence for attention to detail and the bathrobes and slippers are a lovely touch. The Mývatn area was easily accessible from this property. I would love to stay here again!! 5/5 🌟. Incredible stay. From the cabins, you can see the mountains in the distance. They are very modern. We mistakenly took the cabin with the two twin beds (pushed together) but they were comfortable regardless. My son and his fiancée enjoyed the double. The pillows and mattress were great. The ability to go up to the sauna and geo thermal pools was amazing. We enjoyed using them and not going to a public one. Watching the sun set into twilight for the evening from the spa was fantastic. Plus we went every day instead of needing to drive somewhere. There is a cooktop and appropriate cookware. The refrigerator was nice to have since you should bring some food for your stay. We were only 20 minutes from the fancy Hotel Ranga which we also highly recommend. Horse lovers rejoice! They are right there and friendly. The pregnant mares across the way were having babies each night! We would definitely come again.

Gorgeous cabin in a rare Icelandic forest. Very clean with a comfortable bed. The outdoor shower is a fun experience. The highlight of our stay was meeting the resident kitties, Úa and Yrja! They are sweeties!

Great stay near the national park.

We had an amazing stay here! The host provided clear check in instructions and check out was very easy. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was lovely to watch the sunset from the decks and an extra plus with the property cat coming to visit us! Highly recommend

We loved staying at Jona’s place! It’s close enough to Vik but still provided privacy and quiet away from the town. Would come back again and will be recommending this place to others!

The cozy little house was the perfect retreat, peaceful and relaxing. We truly slowed down and enjoyed every moment here. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great cabin at a great location, close to lots of nice sightseeing. The cabin itself feels very homey, and had lots to play with for our 1,5 yo old son. Agnes is a great host as well!

Hands down one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! If you’re in southern Iceland and you don’t stay here, you did it wrong. It has a full kitchen, nice bathroom, spacious living room, good sized bedroom, and large deck to sit on and enjoy the view. Absolutely would 100% recommend and stay there again if back in the area!

Great place to stay, Whirpool Mega.

super quietly located on a lake. From there you can reach some great attractions by rental car. Feel free to come back anytime! A note on the side, the kitchen is rudimentally equipped ( without stove) but with barbecue in the garden. super comfy, super cozy...

Cozy cottage right next to the beach. It reminded us of our family cottage back home. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. Ragnar met us and personally showed us around and answered any questions we had. It was so nice to visit with him and hear stories of growing up on the farm. And what fun watching the Puffins fly in at 10:00 p.m. down on the beach as he advised. And Edda was so kind to provide weather warnings for us the day we were leaving. I could feel how much they cared! Would love to stay here again if we ever get back to the area.

Great location, good accomodations and absolutely stunning sights! Quiet and completely private. Great spot to rest after a long day of travel and whale watching in atrocious seas. 100% worth it!

Einar and his wife are very friendly and welcoming! The cabin was very cute. Wish we had more time to enjoy the amenities (hot tub and sauna) We loved the golden circle booklet that he printed out for us. Highly recommend!

This was one of my favorite places we stayed in Iceland! Very peaceful, great sauna, and a cozy cabin. We were able to do laundry (needed after traveling several days) and Jonas and his family were very gracious about helping us find space to hang it to dry.
