The space
Once upon a time... is a charming B&B nestled in the green Umbrian hills, facing the ancient walls of Perugia, offering an ideal starting point to explore the city. The property is a typical Umbrian rural building, characterized by bricks, stones and tiles, and stands out for its commitment to environmental sustainability.

We produce electricity through a photovoltaic system and hot water with solar thermal energy, while heating and air conditioning are managed by a heat pump that guarantees maximum comfort and reduces consumption. We have adopted ecological practices such as waste sorting, obtaining the eco-sustainability label from Legambiente.

Guests are welcomed in a family atmosphere and stay in an independent apartment located on the second floor. Upon arrival, we will guide you to discover the secrets of our territory, both from an artistic and culinary point of view. The house is enriched with traditional elements, such as grandmother's furniture, wooden beams and a series of old agricultural tools that create an authentic atmosphere.

A large porch surrounds the property, offering the opportunity to relax in a hammock listening to the sounds of nature, such as the hoopoe, the owl or, for early risers, the crowing of the rooster. For sports enthusiasts, it is possible to stroll through the woods to gather typical products or enjoy a scenic bike ride.
