Or just hang out on the hammock. You can swim from the pier or directly from the beach. The beach is quite sudden, so it's not suitable for young children. A lot heats up next to the sauna terrace. This is one of the best places we have stayed. It is a very quiet, peaceful location, surrounded by nature and beauty. If that's what you are looking for then this is the place for you. The house is stunning and modern with great views, the sauna is wonderful and encourages relaxation. We also loved using the boat and swam in the lake about 6 times each day! It's worth stocking up on food in one of the big supermarkets like the one in Lahti, but there are some amazing restaurants within a 35-40 minute drive. We are looking forward to staying here again soon.
