A peaceful cabin in the woods and right by the lake. Comfortable double bed, well equipped kitchen, rather dated furnishings but that just adds to the charms. Views from the kitchen table of the surrounding farmland and woods. The lake was lovely with swans and water lilies but too shallow and muddy to swim. Can recommend walking in the Laipanmaa hiking area and the swimming lake at Pälkäne. Karoliina was very helpful, thank you.

The visit was really nice. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Lots of things to do. We could not complete it in 3 days. Very much child friendly.

Peaceful location, super easy check-in, the listing perfectly matched the description. The map also responded to messages quickly. Good beds to sleep, enough extra pillows for those who need them:). And there was free use of soda in the fridge. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and good cooking utensils. All in all, a very successful long weekend on the outskirts of Lahti. Thanks again and we'll definitely be staying again, at the latest in a year. :)

Already the third time such a relaxing week. Merja is a great renter, always friendly, responds to messages really quickly and keeps the cottage so tidy and clean that it is certainly nowhere else. I highly recommend and look forward to being able to go again in a year!

The house is very pleasant to live in, spacious, and very bright. The surroundings are magnificent for walking, along the lake and in the forest.

Charming and cozy old house with beautiful courtyards. A peaceful and quiet rural environment ensured a relaxing weekend. Dogs also enjoy themselves on the lawn, rolling around. Dealing with the host was smooth and friendly, we got good instructions. The delicacy waiting in the fridge was a wonderful surprise 🥰 A warm recommendation for this home.

A peaceful and cozy place to stay in an incredibly beautiful location by the lake. Great hiking trails start right next to the accommodation. It was wonderful to sit on the glazed terrace and on the beach sauna terrace admiring the summer and nature.

Peaceful accommodation in a beautiful rural setting The accommodation space fully corresponded to the description given, and the environment was very peaceful. The sauna and the tub were in excellent condition, and plenty of firewood was available. After the sauna, an efficient air heat pump provided cooling indoors, which increased living comfort. The loft window could be opened, but the curtain rod needed to be fastened, as it did not stay in place properly. In addition, we noticed that the hob is sensitive to touch – the controls can be accidentally hit when moving around the kitchen, so it is worth taking into account. If the guest has pets, especially cats, we recommend preparing for possible hiding places, such as under the stairs, at the base of the chimney or under the sauna benches. It is good to keep the sauna door closed so that pets cannot find hiding places in difficult places.

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

We had peaceful bachelor parties with a group of women. The stay was clean and multi-purpose. The space provided a comfortable stay for ten people, and everyone loved the stay, thank you so much!

I think this place is the nobility of city apartments. The apartment has a really good bed, TV, blackout curtains, other equipment. Beautifully decorated and all services within walking distance. Despite the central location, the house is quiet and the traffic sounds were only a little (the balcony door was closed, of course). Price-quality ratio is good. In warmer weather, it is advisable to keep the blinds down and closed during the day, otherwise the temperature in the apartment will rise to a hot level.

Nice beautiful little cottage by the lake, which was neat and compact. It was easy to dive into the lake and the water was really shallow, which was well suited for swimming with a child. We were able to play😊 cottage games in the yard, a beautiful and peaceful area in the heart of nature!

We had a lovely 3 day stay here and just didn’t want to leave,it was so calm and peaceful, gave us time to relax and recharge and enjoy each others company after a busy few days around Helsinki. The days just flew by with kayaking, rowing, sauna, dips in the lake and BBQ’s etc, we loved the rustic charm of the cabin and facilities and never got board of the amazing Lakeland view.

The accommodation was wonderful! Cozy, comfortable and rustic. The sauna provided good steam and the bedroom was great for sleeping. The surroundings were peaceful and welcoming. Viivi responded to messages quickly and the reception was warm and pleasant. Definitely a place and host worth recommending ☺️

The cottage is beautifully quiet with private access to a small lake. The garden invites you to relax with its many different seating areas and loungers, the jetty is ideal for morning yoga. It is important to know that there is no real shower. But you can wash wonderfully with water heated by the stove in the sauna. The really well-equipped kitchen is great. Pans and knives are in great condition. There are also many spices and various kitchen appliances. Jaana was very friendly and helpful in written contact. We'd love to come back to this idyll!

Beautiful location, very peaceful. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. Cleanliness could be slightly better as there were lots of traces of dogs. Better curtains to block the light downstairs would also have been appreciated. Otherwise, everything was great.
