The cottage was clean and smelled wonderfully fresh upon arrival. Ample inventory. Good beds and pillows. Nice and smooth communication with a friendly host. Very good! The house is beautiful, quiet and fully equipped.The neighbors are very friendly and helpful.Especially Knauer, Ralf, he took the initiative to help us set up the BBQ grill, and finally we shared a pleasant dinner with him.Everything is wonderful!

We had a lovely and very relaxing stay in this super nice, individual bungalow. The kitchen is not only visually great, it is also well equipped. Despite the park, you have your privacy, the garden is completely overgrown and fenced. We will definitely be happy to come back, very clear 10 out of 10!

Probably the best AirBnB we‘ve been to in the Netherlands! Absolutely amazing renovated traditional house that felt cosy and right at home. We were 4 adults and one child (aged 8). The hosts were kind enough to set an extra bed for my daughter, which was very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. We didn’t miss anything. Very quiet and private location and beautiful surroundings. The garden is very peaceful and there is even a water channel at the back! We‘re absolutely looking forward to staying here again soon.

A really nice, well-kept and spacious house with a large property which is completely surrounded by a hedge and fence in it, so you are undisturbed and the dog can run freely. In addition, there is a large, lockable shed on the property in which bicycles can be stored, among other things. We felt very comfortable and were able to recover super!

The location between the North Sea and Ijsselmeer influenced our decision and that was also good. The Burghorn Recreation Park is a grown place and has an ambience. The chalet is tastefully and practically furnished and there are additional equipment for different projects (actually someone lives there and has their own needs). It was just nice and uncomplicated. When an unforeseen temperature drop came, there was no problem. The necessary equipment was on site. Our dog felt comfortable. Communication was proactive or better forward-looking. Thank you!

Barry is a very friendly, easily accessible host who cares. Communication was top notch. The house is as described in the photos and text. Perhaps it should be mentioned that the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are very steep and narrow. For us and our (big) children, this was not a problem, but with young children this could be an issue. We were very pleased with the mosquito nets and the blinds to darken in the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. It's very quiet on the lake, even when many cottages are inhabited - a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. The use of the TV was only a mystery to us, but after a demand from Barry everything worked well. The SUPs and boats are a highlight - our kids loved it. Water lilies and the daily visit of ducks and chickens are included. Shopping is nearby, and Barry gives good tips for things to do and getaways. Great vacation overall.

Maaike is a top host. Very nice room with all the comforts. We have enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool. Delicious extensive breakfast buffet! She responded quickly and thought along well. Definitely recommended!

Our daughters said that They want to lbut the house when Tent grow up. it was cozy and We enjoyed the winter garden.

We had a great stay at Casey's. He welcomed us very nicely, always responded quickly and gave helpful tips for the area and our tour. In addition, he was a great skipper! Highly recommend - we'll be back!

The place was very, very nice. I was very impressed with Bono and of course with his friendly owner too. Pieter is immediately active if you have any questions or need assistance. I highly recommend this chalet. However, for 4 adults, I would describe it as somewhat cramped. Ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. I'm sure to vacation there again.

We were very warmly welcomed . The apartment has a creative atmosphere as the kitchen is a workshop. The bedroom is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The garden offers flower and dyke views.

ideal for spending a peaceful weekend with your family near the lake, we easily reached everywhere because we were traveling by car, you can choose this cute place instead of paying a very high accommodation fee in Amsterdam, we were very well received, everything was very nice from the beginning to the day of the checkout, we are planning to come back again

We loved a stay here. It was peaceful and quiet. The host was friendly and proactive! For example the heat was turned on and the baby was prepared. Highly recommend!

We spent a week with our two dogs in this great cottage and the at least equally beautiful surroundings. We met Tinda in person upon our arrival. She is a very sweet person 😊 There were both "treats" for us and for the dogs. We found the bed very comfortable and it was wonderfully quiet in this place. We made great excursions in the area. My personal highlight and one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had was the "cuddling lamb" on Texel 😍 The beaches are also just a dream and our dogs had a wonderful time there!

Very nice little camper. Value for money is more than satisfactory! A very nice little campsite with some animals. We felt very comfortable. We will be happy to come back!
