The best of both worlds, close to the city of Hamburg & Norderstedt and yet in the countryside in the middle of the meadow and surrounded by horses. Overlooking the meadows and the riding stable, the garden invites you to relax, the grill calls for a barbecue and the fireplace ensures cozy evenings. The wooden house is quite flexible and there are 2 additional sleeping places (e.g. for older children) in the alcove upstairs.

BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. Our restored, half-timbered house in the village centre of Christinenfeld is only four kilometres away from the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen. The cozy apartment Dorfstraße 8 has a wooden floor, south-facing terrace and garden access. A separate outbuilding features table tennis and table football. The Klützer Winkel region offers white beaches, wild cliffs and a wide, hilly landscape with sea views. Wismar and Lübeck with their famous old towns (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites) are close.

The guest house is very cozy and stylish with many details, such as furniture, windows, etc., which have been designed and built in individual production and with a lot of love for detail. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a stylishly furnished ambience, this is the place to be. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters from us.

In winter, it is heated with wood and briquettes and it quickly becomes cozy and warm. Fluent cold water is available in the wagon only in the frost-free time! Horses can be brought, 1 hectare. Our single-family home offers a perfect balance between privacy and hospitality as we live with our family on the first floor. Our tiny house is the perfect base for cyclists, hikers, short-stay vacationers or ornithologists. Lake Sumter is only a few minutes' walk away. The Elbe is 4 km away. The light-flooded tiny house has 2 sleeping places with TV in the "upper deck." 2 more people can stay on a pull-out couch. There is a well-equipped kitchen and under the walnut tree you can linger and relax on a 20 sqm terrace with a grill.
