Lothar was a very friendly and generous host. We really enjoyed our stay in Pfaffenweiler together with our friends and children. It is a very relaxing environment with wonderful surroundings. For wine enthusiasts: the local wine is absolutely worth trying.

Very nice apartment and excellent hosts. Rules on the pool seemed a little over the top, was the only very minor negative.

Thomas is a very helpful host and it was a pleasure to have spent a weekend in his home! The location is very quiet and has all the necessary amenities to spend time in total relaxation! One of the Best Airbnb Stays We've Had! This villa was truly one of the best Airbnb properties we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a spacious house with all modern amenities, beautifully maintained and perfectly located. The views of the Black Forest from both the living room and bedroom were absolutely stunning. The large balcony with a dining table made it perfect for enjoying meals with a breathtaking view. The villa also has a beautiful garden and a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The private sauna and wellness area were a fantastic bonus — we wish we had booked a couple more days to enjoy it even more! Melanie was a wonderful and friendly host, making our stay even more comfortable. Just a note for future guests: having your own transportation is essential, as there’s no public transport nearby. We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

A really comfortable and well equipped house on the edge of the Black Forest. Very nice "sun lounge" to relax in overlooking the garden. Wood-fired sauna was well used during our stay. This was a good central location for getting to and from the centres for the Schluchtensteig.

We had a fantastic stay and truly wish our travel plans had allowed us to stay longer. The home was spotless and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and modern. Thoughtful touches like the provided slippers and the Nespresso machine (with great coffee!) made us feel right at home. Our boys especially loved playing the Super Nintendo—it was a fun surprise and kept them entertained in the morning before checkout. The house had everything we could have asked for, and having parking right out front was a huge help since we were traveling with a large van and a group of seven. The welcome book was also a nice touch, full of clear instructions and great local tips on what to do and where to eat. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I live in Airbnbs and originally booked Claire’s house for 3 nights and extended it two more once I realized how great it is. All the other reviews are accurate about location and quality. It’s full of books and other non-IKEA things that make you feel at home. The apartment, even though downstairs, has its own outdoor space and feels airy You can get into Freiburg very easily by public transport and there are walking trails directly from the house. Plenty to do. Bring a bike if you can. I would absolutely stay here again.

Already before our trip, we had such a friendly contact with Petra and Roger. Everything went wonderfully from start to finish. The place is a dream, clean, beautifully decorated, with lots of privacy and with everything your heart desires🙏❤. The location is perfect, with many possibilities for excursions (Wutachschlucht, Schluchsee, Rheinfall, Titisee, Lake Constance, Zurich and much more). A perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet in the countryside and still see a lot. Last but not least, Petra and Roger are perfect, loving 😍hosts who were always available and supported with valuable tips. Simply 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for everyone👍🙏. We had a wonderful time🙏.. Claudia and her family welcomed us warmly. The place was well maintained and we even got snacks and a squeeze for our little daughter as a welcome gift. Super great and attentive. I would recommend Claudia's place again and again.

Very peaceful and beautiful place and area to stay while we traveled to nearby Zurich and other towns. Especially love the sound of the nearby creek at night. Due to last minute travel and flight changes had to leave a day early but would have loved to stay all week. Highly recommended

After 7 weeks in Europe, Malonda made our last day a very comfortable and functional departure lodging for a quick drive to ZRH!! She is a great host!! It was one of the best equipped lodgings during our whole time.

A lovely apartment, well suited for three couples. The equipment to cook with was great and we loved the fondue set. Lots of comfortable seating in the lounge too. They were very helpful providing a high chair and cot. Hosts communication was great. There is a second apartment on the ground floor and outdoor areas are shared; although there is plenty of space and the provided bbq was great. Parking was harder to share and we ended up parking across the road, which was still pretty close but made it slightly more difficult to load and unload. Would definitely recommend!
