Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Haliburton

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

One of the most incredible stays I’ve ever experienced in Ontario. This cottage is even better in person; beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and absolutely stunning and serene surroundings. Retreat 82 has all the amenities you could ask for and more, and our dog loved every minute of our stay too. We can’t wait to come back!

Tracey and Rodneys place is an absolute gem of a find in the Campbellford area! The space is incredibly designed, with the river at the bottom of the backyard. We could have spent hours in the gallery room or the library, and the open window on the top level with a couch overlooking the river would be a perfect spot to take one of their books and read the day away on a cooler day! absolutely fantastic hosts who we'll no doubt reach out to when we're in the area again! thank you both!!

Clean , cozy place with all the amenities you'll need. Short walk to a public little beach. Even our Molly enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard and local trails. Cheryl R.

Art’s place is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s a big property with lots of space. The waterfront was pristine with clear water and no weeds. The interior has plenty of space to play games, enjoy the view and simply just relax. We would love to spend an entire week there the next time if Art would welcome us back.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Sawdust City Haus. Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was cute and cozy, and the house was well-stocked with everything that we needed. (We especially appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen and the selection of board games!) The instruction booklet with information about the house as well as local attractions was extremely helpful. We loved soaking in the hot tub and getting up close and personal with the neighbourhood deer! Oh, and the beds are super comfortable too. Devon was a great host; always responsive and helpful. Thank you for everything!

we were a family of 5 and a baby 6 month old. The cottage was so comfortable, beautifully decorated, fully stocked with everything we needed and some more. we used the BBQ out on the patio which was very clean and ready to be used. It made our stay wonderful. Beds were very comfortable clean, and we had the best sleep. Every corner is well decorated and the view of the lake was beyond expectations. we didn't use the sauna room as it was a bit cold and rainy when we were there but I can imagine it would be so nice in brighter weather. I highly recommend Christina's cottage. It is worth the drive. absolutely loved it.

Had a wonderful weekend at the lodge, can’t wait to go back! Cindy thought of every little thing, all the extra little details were perfect and so thoughtful.

Our stay at Craig and Susan’s place was amazing! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you’d need. The kitchen was stocked, just bring your food and you’re set! The pool was warm and very enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and peaceful. Craig and Susan were very welcoming. They were amazing, kind and helpful hosts! The delicious welcome cookies and snacks were a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back!

We stay for 2 nights it was a perfect getaway for us. Lots to do inside and outside our little ones really enjoyed. The host was super nice and responsive. The house was very clean and the detail of the house was very homey. We really enjoyed our stay. Most recommended to book this it was very worth it.

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

We stayed from 4 night, and despite having almost 72 hours of light but constant rain (it looked like a veil of rain when looking over the fields), we were very comfortable and cozy in the cottage. The trails attached to the cottage are a nice gateway into the surrounding forests. They are and thick with trees that sheltered us from the rain (and any cabin fever). This location also prvoided us easy access (via bike) to the Durham mountain bike trails in the area when the rain let up finally, near the end of our stay.

I've stayed at Anas's unit several times and it never disappoints. Him and his wife are such kind hosts and will do everything they can to ensure your stay is up to a five-star standard. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We had the best time at this lovely place. Deborah and Ross are amazing hosts and incredibly kind people. Thank you for everything :) the place is also super clean and feels like home! If you are bothered by bugs, don’t miss out to visit the lovely little store ‘zebra with a different stripe’ to get some great all natural bug spray!

Extremely cozy and private cabin which is perfect for a quick getaway. We loved being surrounded by deer and sleeping to the glow of the wood stove. The cabin is as described and Jamie is an extremely responsive host.

Kiki's place is like a little piece of heaven with a lake attached to it. If you want quiet, comfortable, and cosy, you don't have to look any further than this.

We were so happy to stay at this cottage! The house was cozy and welcoming, and both our child and our dog had an amazing time. It was the perfect place for a fun and relaxing family getaway. We would love to come back again!

Khristel was very accommodating with our late check out and she was very fast with her responses. The place is such an amazing getaway peaceful location. Everything we needed was provided and stocked accordingly. I would definitely recommend and stay longer next time .

A beautiful, clean, and peaceful cabin! Sarah thought of everything. We had everything we needed for the weekend and more. We arrived after dark, and the cabin was very easy to find thanks to the well-maintained road and driveway. One of the best surprises was the bathroom, just a few steps behind the cabin. It was spotless, odor-free, and the Cinderella toilet was a total A+. Honestly, one of the cleanest outdoor bathrooms we’ve seen. If you’re looking for total seclusion, this may not be the most remote spot as you can see the main house from the cabin. However, the setting by a quiet stream and surrounded by woods still made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Downtown Haliburton is conveniently close for grabbing food or checking out local cafes. Between rain showers, we explored nearby trails, and during the rain, we cozied up by the fire with our books. Pure relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We stayed at Janessa’s place for 2 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Even it was pretty chill in this May, the heater works fine and with the fireplace lighting up, it feels very warm and cozy. Lots of to do for water activities. Really nice scenery and nature view! Janessa is really responsive and friendly to us. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Natasha's. Home was very new, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Just loved admiring all the beautiful trees! We had a dog with us and walking around the surroundings was so peaceful. Sauna/spa was great after a long walk. Very close to Haliburton and Minden. There is a very nice country market nearby as well. Highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful retreat with a modern touch.

What a sensational weekend get away. This cottage had it ALL! Brilliant decor, a kitchen that I would love to have in my own home! Such a well thought out layout and gathering areas for relaxing, eating and playing games. The decor….amazing. The games room, simply spectacular, and the downstairs tv area, just wonderful. The views were off the charts, beautiful, and we had the most incredible weekend. Erika was very accommodating and flexible with check in etc. The kitchen is well stocked and we had an exceptional weekend. Would rent again.
