Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Please note we have a 3 night minimum booking except Xmas and New Year, which are 4 nights.

Our peaceful cottage is located at the bottom of our garden, reached by a private lane less than 200 yards from the centre of Haddington. Haddington is a historic market town 20 miles east of Edinburgh and has good public transport to the city. Located in East Lothian and 20 minutes drive to the many beaches and golf courses. There are several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops within an easy stroll. The cottage is self-contained with private parking in a relaxed, quiet setting.

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built.
