Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A colourful, creative 3 storey Georgian townhouse. Located in the centre of the pretty market town of Haddington, just 25 minutes drive from Edinburgh and 10-15 minutes from many stunning beaches, countryside walks and golf courses. There are great public transport links right outside and several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops within an easy stroll, as well as further afield in the surrounding area. Please note we have a 3 night minimum booking except Xmas and New Year, which are 4 nights.

Welcome to our gorgeous period house (Built in 1640 by a local ships captain from Dunbar), nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of East Linton. Full of traditional features and close to restaurants and cafes Edinburgh is 30 minutes away by train from East Linton and bus stops to North Berwick, Gullane, Dunbar are a short walk away. Coastal walks and attractions within a few minutes drive. Ideal for families, friends and business guests. Short distance to East Lothian Golf Courses.

A House on the Hill: Highfield farm cottage (4+1)

Highfield cottage is a stone-built house on a hill at Hillhouse Farm Escapes in the Scottish Borders. This old shepherd's house is renovated to a modern & cosy standard. It has a superb kitchen with range cooker and large dining table, a huge lounge and two generous bedrooms (one is en-suite). Best of all is the stunning rural location with incredible views. It's an easy one-mile walk to a pub. Dog friendly. The house next door, a Little House on the Hill (Herniecleugh), is also available.

Garden Cottage

Our peaceful cottage is located at the bottom of our garden, reached by a private lane less than 200 yards from the centre of Haddington. Haddington is a historic market town 20 miles east of Edinburgh and has good public transport to the city. Located in East Lothian and 20 minutes drive to the many beaches and golf courses. There are several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops within an easy stroll. The cottage is self-contained with private parking in a relaxed, quiet setting.

Ancient Castle above the River Tweed

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Scapa Cottage

Scapa Cottage is tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac in the scenic seaside village of Gullane, ranked among Scotland's top five villages. Just steps from the renowned Muirfield and Gullane golf courses, it’s a golfer’s paradise. The village centre, with sandy beaches and amenities, is a 5-minute stroll away. With excellent transport links to Edinburgh (20 miles) and North Berwick, Scapa Cottage is the perfect base for a relaxing seaside escape or a memorable golfing tour.

My place is close to Yellowcraig Beach (one of the best beaches in Scotland), between Gullane and North Berwick. You’ll love my place because of the quiet, rural location, the comfy beds, the views and the high ceilings. My place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Pets are subject to an additional £30 cleaning fee per pet per stay, payable on arrival. Pet fees are not included in the price you will have already paid.

Beautiful, quaint 16th century cottage, lovingly restored as a dedicated holiday cottage. Located in the heart of an old farm guests can enjoy peace and quiet, beautiful views and owners on site. The cottage has benefited from a complete refurb in 2020 and an enclosed private garden. We sit directly on the river bank and walkway to Haddington and East Linton and a bus link directly into Edinburgh in 45 mins. We are around 15mins drive to the coast and North Berwick.
