Cozy up with a book, have breakfast and dinner taking in the remarkable view of Venice bell towers and canals, on fantastic rooftop terrace of this beautiful and cozy apartment filled with furniture and ornaments from local artisans and Murano glass factories. Due to allergic problems of the host, it is not possible to stay with pets, sorry for that. Registration Number: M0270428520 The apartment is situated in Santa Croce district, only a few steps from the lively S.Giacomo da l'Orio Square which is renowned for being one of the most picturesque and popular areas of Venice where locals gather to socialise and gossip. The flat is on the third and last floor of a building located in Corte dei Mercanti, a small and cozy square situated about 10 minutes far from the Rialto Bridge and - going to the opposite direction - only 15 minutes far from Venice S.Lucia railway station. The apartment, recently restored, incorporates the concept of a typical Venetian house which reflects both in the furniture and in its architectural structure. While renovating, attention was paid to recreate and maintain the spirit and atmosphere of the Venetian merchants who livened up this area for decades. Furthermore, furnishings are a work of art as it comes from handy work of local artisans and Murano glass factories. The flat offers a 360° view as it boasts windows on each side and it develops on two levels: the main floor where the living/kitchen areas, the bathroom as well as the bedroom are situated, and the upper floor which hosts a relaxing area and a rooftop terrace. The entrance door gives access to the roomy and luminous living area is decorated with three-colour wallpaper and infused by natural light thanks to four windows. The space also includes a comfy sofa, a television and a tea table. Straight ahead, the wide and functional kitchen completes the area. It has classic style custom-made furniture which includes a slate top and details made of pewter. All appliances and a classy wooden table - which seats four - finish the furnishings. The bathroom with shower and a comfortable bedroom complete the main floor. Here, a double bed, a bridge wardrobe and a couple of reading lights furnish the space which is decorated with floral wallpaper and other decorative elements that recall the thousand-year old relationship existing between Venice and the Far East. The ceiling highlights once again the original structure of the building and a lovely skylight ideally extends the room towards the sky. A stairway made of Venetian grey granite leads to the upper floor where, nestled it the eaves of the roof, an air-conditioned reading area finds place. It represents the ideal place where to relax lay on the sofas. The loft also offers a terrace which overlooks the surrounding roofs and bell towers, among which the S.Maria dei Frari and S.Mark's ones. This sunny area is equipped with fine teak chairs and table for four to enjoy unique breakfasts, sunsets, sunrises or a romantic dining under the stars. Oltre il muro d’ingresso si cela un bel cortiletto da cui si accede all’appartamento, un grazioso bilocale molto pulito, con una cucina molto fornita e una camera da letto molto spaziosa. Beatrice, oltre ad averci fatto trovare prodotti per la colazione, ci ha accompagnati personalmente all’appartamento e ci ha dato molti consigli su locali della zona e su come muoverci in città. Assolutamente consigliato!

The place is immaculate- in pristine condition, very clean. It is a very comfortable apartment with lots of big windows! Very cosy bed to spend peaceful nights. You will feel very safe there. All amenities you will possibly need. The kitchen is really good to cook. A very big bathroom. I love the location so much with wonderful Campo Di Santa Margherita where I was buying fresh bread, flowers, berries and veggies early in the morning observing locals passing by to their studies, work, walking with their dogs, buying newspapers and so on. You can go anywhere from that place or just stay there enjoying Dorsoduro. A lot of absolutely wonderful museums in the area. Ca Rezzonico became my favorite - the collection, the palazzo itself! La Fenice theater is absolutely stunning. I was taking public water transport easily to the other parts of Venice like Giudecca. And a water taxi to the airport. Matteo and Raffaella, very warm people, were so kind to me. I was very happy there. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay in this amazing apartment in a beautiful part of Venice overlooking canals and most of Venice. The large private balcony was the highlight of the apartment . It is a short distance away from the busy tourist areas but these are easily accessible. There were loads of lovely places to eat close by and supermarkets to buy supplies. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön in winem venezianischen Stil eingerichtet. Sehr ruhige Lage, kurz Anbindung an den Anleger und gemütlich. Da wir zu 4. dort waren, musste 2 Personen auf dem Schlafsofa übernachten. Das war leider gar nicht komfortabel. Das Hauptbett hingegen war super. Genauso sollte man wissen, dass es keine „richtigen“Türen in der Wohnung gibt. Auch nicht zum Badezimmer und zur Toilette. Was uns persönlich ein wenig gefehlt hat, war die klassische Bialetti für den Herd. Aber die Cafés sind sehr nah gewesen. Ansonsten ist diese Wohnung super ausgestattet und Giovanna ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Der Aufenthalt bei Claudia war perfekt. Die Wohnung ist noch besser, als auf den Bildern. Alles ist makellos sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der kleine Garten ist wunderschön. Toll war auch, dass wir früher einchecken konnten und so nicht noch warten mussten nach der Anreise. Die Umgebung ist auch super. Nah an allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Supermärkten und trotzdem ruhig. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt 😊

Wir waren 3 Freunde zum erstenmal in Venedig. Sandro erklärte uns genau wie man am schnellsten zur Unterkunft gelangt. Obwohl wir verspätet ankamen , gab es überhaupt keine Probleme diesbezüglich . Die Tips der Restaurants waren auch alle perfekt . Die Lage der Wohnung hätte nicht besser sein können. Alles zu Fuß super erreichbar. Wir waren das erste Mal da, aber sicher das letzte Mal ;)

A lovely apartment in a quieter area of the city. The street outside has the canal and plenty of local bars and restaurants. The terrace was perfect for our morning coffee or afternoon relax, pretty quiet overlooking rooftops. Walking distance to all the tourist spots, or easy to get to by water taxi. The apartment has lovely traditional decor and is clean and spacious. The only thing to consider is it is up 3 flights of stairs, and has very low ceilings / beams so may be difficult if you are tall. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Francesca

If you are looking for a quiet oasis away from the crowds of Venice then this is the place! You literally have everything you need not far from the door including amazing restaurants. Elisabetta kindly met us on check in and gave us some excellent information. We loved staying in this apartment and highly recommend to others.

bel accueil et belle surprise l'appartement était mieux que sur les photos, conseil et information clair.

The best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! The most amenities, very clean, well stocked with coffee, tea, condiments, etc. Beatrice let us at the pier and helped us with our luggage and showed us where the place is, along with some restaurant and grocery store recommendations. She is soooo organized, very nice, the place was very roomy, decorated very nicely, and was in the heart of everything! Highly recommend this place!

Alessandra’s apartment was in a very quiet neighborhood. It’s about 10 to 12 minutes from the train station and it’s very easy find. There are lots of very good restaurants in the area. I suggest getting a pass if you’re there for more than a day for the vaporetto’s. It allows multiple rides for one price and it makes it a little easier to get around plus you get a beautiful view of the city from the canals. Walking also preferable if it’s not too hot. Alessandra’s apartment was perfect. We have recommended it to other people we know. If we ever come back to Venice, I would definitely recommend staying here as it was a perfect location. Alessandra made our stay perfect. I suggest also taking a pre-booked tour to avoid the lines and crowds.
