Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Gotland County

Bungenås has a different pace. Once you enter the area, people are friendly, calm and relaxed. You hear and see a lot of different birds and can enjoy this private house. And no cars... The house has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, enough pillows, some art on the walls and games in the cupboard. It does not feel like a holiday rental, you can feel that the owners are enjoying this house also themselves, so it embraces you like a home. It has several spaces to sit outside, in case you like the sun or not. It is quiet around the house, but a lively atmosphere when you walk the 15 minutes to the swimming pier, cafe and restaurant. We also enjoyed other spots of Gotland, for example hiking in the national parks Furilden and Hall-Hangvar, and a day trip to the 'Bergman Island'. We would love to come back some day.

We were two families visiting Gotland and this lovely house. Clean, spacious, and satisfied everyone's needs. The hosts were very responsive and it was nothing they didn't think about. Everything was included as described. Much appreciated! There was a lot of hanging out in the lovely garden with BBQ dinners, croquet etc. Just next to was a football field to the children's delight. Close to swimming and other attractions. Highly recommended!

We were in Mija's house with 8 adults and 2 small children. We felt totally comfortable. Next to the house, the terraces were also comfortable. The proximity to the beach was great. And we could also manage with one bathroom. A great vacation week. In addition to the house, Gotland is definitely worth a trip.

Beautifully presented house in a very peaceful location

We stayed for one week (two adults, two children and a dog 🙂) and had a great time. The host provided helpful tips in their welcome basket, which contained a variety of goodies and helped us feel right at home. The house and yard had lots of toys for the kids. It was all very neat and well organized and having access to a laundry room provides a lot of convenience. Overall we can highly recommend!

Mia's place is perfect for a family or a larger group who is looking for a place to stay from a couple of days or longer. It is beautifully located by the west coast of Gotland with a ~10 minute drive into Visby. Lots of bedrooms, living spaces and a large kitchen that has everything. We were there to attend a wedding and it was the perfect place to stay. Mia was an excellent host with clear and timely communication. Pets are allowed, so if you are allergic, you should expect that pets have been there and not be surprised by that. I highly recommend staying at Mia's.

We really enjoyed our stay at Liora’s place. Kitchen was easy to use and very well equipped. Many nice spots both inside and outside.

Great place to stay that matched the description and pictures. Tidy and fresh. A balcony overlooking the water. Perfect to sit there and drink the morning coffee. Also the access to the garden is a big plus, lush and nice with different seating areas. Close to restaurants and the inner city. Nice welcome when we arrived. We had four great days at Glädjens house and are happy to return.

This is a beautiful, colorful, special place to stay with several nice touches, like fresh flowers on the table, pink geraniums in pots on the window sills, and a gorgeous white grand piano! The location is perfect for exploring. Be aware that you need to request sheets and towels, at an additional cost. This is listed in the description, but I hadn’t noticed that, so, having never had to pay extra for linens, this was a surprise. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

Incredibly proactive and good at responding, even well before our stay. The home was magical and brightened our time on the island. Tips are to rent bikes or walk along more boardwalk instead of driving a car to Visby inner city. Five pluses!

The first thing that hit us when we got into the apartment was the great view. We enjoyed the view and wonderful sunsets. The apartment is functional, practical and tastefully decorated. Ylva has been quick to leave information and answer questions. We are happy to come back and can highly recommend this home.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was super cozy and felt incredibly private, providing a perfect retreat. There was ample space for four people to comfortably relax. Bengt and his wife were incredibly accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The location was fantastic, right beside the wall and within easy walking distance to the inner city. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming and convenient base to explore from!

We spent 4 days in Visby and enjoyed Martin's apartment very much. Nice and modern. Easy to communicate with the host. Highly recommend this home.

Very well equipped cottage. There was nothing missing in the kitchen, sharp knives!! Good beds. Great sauna. Enchanting surroundings!!! Very high standard! 15-minute walk to the harbor with swimming access and beach. Wonderful! The well-maintained bikes are an absolute plus. The Själsö Bageri provides fresh rolls every morning. We would love to book again any time!

Nice and good accommodation well in line with how it was presented by the host (Linda). In addition to what was included when we booked, a newly built, large and fresh deck was built next to the house with associated food group. It was a positive surprise. Relatively secluded plot from a couple of nice neighbors. Excellent dialogue and quick response by the host in case of any questions. Nice plot for the kids to kick the ball on. The road about 100 meters away is not noticeable from the house. Outdoor shower (there is hot water of course), not drinkable water in the house (to be picked up by car a couple of minutes away in two ten-litre cans), a little lower in ceilings than normal, and the incineration toilet (incredibly convenient albeit a little unusual) are elements that create more a summer cottage feeling than when someone rents out their permanent home. Completely in line with how it is still presented, but worth noting depending on what one is searching in their home. Ljugarn is about 4 min away by car.

Very nice area close to our planning. Had most of what was needed, may be missing a microwave. Otherwise easy to find and very cozy. Would love to come again for a longer time in the future. If you can imagine biking, you can reach most things, otherwise a car can be helpful.

The house is very nice and quiet in a small vacation home settlement. You can tell that the vacation home is mainly used by the owners themselves and not rented professionally - and that's exactly how it should be! We felt very comfortable and everything we needed was available (and much more!). The house is beautifully renovated with bright colors and was very clean. From the house it is only a few steps to the blue bench by the sea. A favorite place! You can make beautiful cycling tours in the area and we also cycled to the supermarket in Katthammarsvik. A lot of useful information and tips are provided before arrival and are also available in the house. Stina always responded quickly and kindly to questions. Highly recommended!

The house was even better than I expected. It was spacious, nicely decorated and it had everything we needed, and more. The kitchen was very well equipped, the garden lovely and big and what I loved most was the closeness of the sea. Every day, early in the morning, I walked to the jetty and had a swim in the beautiful ocean, with hardly anyone around yet, only the seagulls and the ducks. Alejandra was very friendly and quick to respond. So I have only good things to say about this place. I hope to come back here some day!

A typical home on the island. We loved it all. The accommodation is tastefully decorated. Felix is easily reachable and very helpful. We enjoyed the little touches like water and eggs left in the fridge. I really recommend this place.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment of this newly build place. Perfectly placed to be on your own, yet close to everything by car/bike.

Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic stay at Salthamn! The accommodation and everything around it was frankly perfect,😍 would recommend this to anyone going to Gotland!
