Converted and newly renovated smithy in limestone located by the small parish road in Grötlingbo next door to the medieval Museigården Kattlunds. The house is part of our farm building where you have two own secluded patios. The lower floor has a living room with limestone floor with underfloor heating and a large fireplace. A smaller kitchen area that is fully equipped and a bedroom with two beds in a bunk bed. The upper floor has a double bed with the possibility of an extra bed. Newly-built bathroom in the extension with separate entrance.

Farm grand piano with lamb and meat animals (cows with calf). The farm is coastal, in the middle of lush meadows and pastures with about 1.5 - 2 km walking distance to the sea. The accommodation is perfect for families with children and also great for birdwatchers as the farm is close to some of Gotland's best bird spaces. The guest is responsible for linens and towels. The guest cleans up and leaves in the same condition as it arrived. Bicycles are available in the yard to borrow. Kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated in 2022.

Excellent bike/hiking trails in fine nature and cultural landscapes with medieval buildings. 50 km to Visby. 13 km to Fårösund. 5 km to the bus stop. Car chargers are available. The "Annex" is a charming accommodation on two floors that has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. From the living room you step directly out into the lush garden with roses, jasmine, lavender, etc. Breakfast in the green with birds chirping, barbecue evenings at sunset or just sit under the large chestnut with a good book. If there is a rain shower, there is a "greenhouse" to curl under. Or why not play boule on the track that's there? Attracts swimming, so it's close to a pearl band of sandy beaches.

There is a deck where you can enjoy a good meal while you can hear the noise of the waves and gaze at the sea and the Karl Islands. If you want to take a dip, you can do it in the comfortable pool. There's also a patio for a rainy summer day.

It is about 4.5 km to Visby. There is a shop in nearby Katthammarsvik, restaurants in Katthammarsvik, Sandviken and Sysne. There are many different beaches to choose from and they are located between 6-12 km from the farm.
