You will stay in an attractively renovated front house with modern comforts and authentic details. Have you always wanted to sleep in a bedstead? You can! Furthermore, you have access to a large sitting kitchen with oven, Nespresso coffee maker and dishwasher. In the spacious sitting room, in addition to the bedstee, you also have a nice sitting/sofa bed with smart TV. The spacious bathroom includes a lovely bathtub and separate shower. The separate bedroom has a nice box spring for a great rest.

Biodiversity is high here. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The area is very suitable for hiking, cycling, canoeing.

Guesthouse for 2 adults and 3 children because the other beds are shorter (length 1.80m). Infants also welcome. Toys, high chairs and baby gear are provided. Our guest house was newly built in 2018 in traditional style with oak beams, Frisian yellow stone wall and concrete floor with floor heating. Walking distance to a forest and lake with beach and swimming jetty.

Within walking distance of the city center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Elfstedenroute, is our rural farm. We offer you a spacious room in this rural and watery area, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/sitting area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is available. We have recently realized this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

Onze "Mooie Liefde" was vroeger de paardenstal behorend tot de eeuwenoude boerderij waarin wij wonen. In 2020 hebben wij het samen met veel liefde en passie omgetoverd tot een tiny house met een oude geleefde uitstraling. Via de groene trap kom je boven op de mooie vide met een 180x200 bed, met tweepersoons matras en tweepersoons schapenwollen dekbed. Onder de vide vinden jullie de prachtige badkamer en keuken. This converted 8-person barn house with underfloor heating has 4 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an upstairs toilet. The house has all the comforts for a carefree stay and has its own driveway. A lot of nature can be found within walking and cycling distance.

Summer cottage Burgum

At the edge of Burgum, on the back of the yard is our Summer Cottage. A former horse shed which we converted into a self-contained space with a view over a beautiful piece of meadow, where now and then there are bunnies and storks to spot!
