Really had a great stay, all 3 of us didn't want to leave. The view was extraordinary, lots to see around the cottage & nice people nearby. Everything in the cottage was great & were even surprised how beautiful it all was. Quick response from host for tips & advice. There was nothing disappointing. 15 minutes from villages where there was also a lot to do. This was a great experience & we look forward to coming again. Thank you !

I live in Airbnbs and originally booked Claire’s house for 3 nights and extended it two more once I realized how great it is. All the other reviews are accurate about location and quality. It’s full of books and other non-IKEA things that make you feel at home. The apartment, even though downstairs, has its own outdoor space and feels airy You can get into Freiburg very easily by public transport and there are walking trails directly from the house. Plenty to do. Bring a bike if you can. I would absolutely stay here again.

We were very satisfied with Mr. Hartmut and the accommodation. Was our 1st time at an AirBnB and a lovely experience. Mr. Hartmut apparently has not received such good reviews for nothing. He always seemed very straightforward and friendly. Makes it all very transparent and fair. In our 4 days and 3 nights we felt comfortable and can't complain about the price, cleanliness and performance at all. Just great, no lie. Thanks again for a nice time.

This was truly the most beautiful home and location. We drove from Basel and it was easy to find. Great amenities. The home was absolutely spotless and well equipped. It was just stunning. With the views from full length windows to the stream and being able to walk out in to the forest. There were local goats which were a big hit with the kids. We had a teenage boy and 7 year old girl and both loved it. If you have kids, there is a theme park about 1 hour or so away and a beautiful swimming complex about 20 mins away. But honestly, just staying at the house and hiking was the best. I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The hosts met us to let us in and changed our check-in when our flight times were changed by the airline which helped so much. I can not fault it. Perfection.

We had a very nice time at Yvonne and Jakob's. The apartment is incredibly beautiful, has so much charm and you can feel and see the attention to detail. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. There was nothing missing. We felt very comfortable and after long excursions it always felt like coming home:) The communication with Yvonne and Jakob was always pleasant and straightforward. They are very lovely and helpful hosts. The location of the apartment was also perfect for us. Whether to France or to the Europapark, we were everywhere quickly by car at the destination. Staying with Yvonne and Jakob is definitely recommended:)

Perfect stay – thank you, Franz! We had a wonderful time staying at the place. Everything was very clean, lovingly decorated and exactly as described. The peaceful surroundings provided for relaxation, and at the same time everything important, such as Europa-Park and Rulantica, was easily and quickly accessible. A very special thank you to the host Franz – super friendly, helpful and always available. They immediately felt welcome and in good hands. You don't find such warm care everywhere! We'd love to come back and highly recommend this place.

The lake around the corner is super nice and the public connection to the center and further e.g. to the Ravennaschlucht or to the Titisee is very good. The place is minimalist but sufficiently well-equipped, only a sharp kitchen knife was missing :D

Felix and his family have created a true oasis in the middle of the Black Forest. A place of rest that is perfect for slowing down and recharging. Pure idyll, only green in front of the window. In bad weather, the cozy, lovingly furnished apartment invites you to make a fire, read, cook and look out the window. In good weather, everything is open to you in the middle of the Black Forest. In 10 minutes by car to Himmelreich and then 15 minutes by S-Bahn you are in beautiful Freiburg. We enjoyed the 10 days and especially the bad weather days. Thank you dear Felix for sharing this wonderful place with other people.

We felt very comfortable. The place fully met our expectations. Everything was very clean and tidy. We were received in a very friendly manner. The pleasant coolness was our salvation in the heat in Freiburg. The district of Lehen is excellent for exploring Freiburg and still feeling a little rural.

We stayed for a wonderful month in Ulf and Andrea's beautiful apartment. We loved the balcony for the stunning sunsets, the fully equipped kitchen and really appreciated the washing machine. Being able to park our car safely off the road was a bonus. And of course, we were just a short tram ride from the centre of Freiburg. What more could anyone want?

We had a wonderful stay at this really nice and well-equipped apartment. Thanks to Theda and Marcus as very nice hosts, we lacked nothing. Together with the surroundings, the good wine, the magnificent view from the balcony and many beautiful experiences, this was an all-round perfect Airbnb experience for us.

My flight was delayed, there was a big traffic jam on the motorway and I was way past the check-in time, but no problem with Ulrike who was understanding and patient and greeted me personally with Corrina. The place was cool and pleasant in the heat and very clean. Will always go back. Highly recommend.

Ute’s place is spacious, clean, and bright. What you see is what you get from the photos. As a light sleeper, the passing trains didn’t bother me much, I had no problems sleeping at all. I stayed there for a week and got used to it on the second day. Ute is also friendly and flexible, I arrived slightly earlier and she welcomed me in. On my last day, I stayed at her garden for around 2 hours after I checked out. We talked a lot with my broken German.. I recommend this place.

Verena and Rudi’s home was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed (and we’ve stayed in a lot!). They were such kind hosts who made us feel so welcome. The setting on the banks of the Rhine is incredible. We swam in the river every day, enjoyed their lovely pool, and loved the beautiful view. Already wondering when we can come back next!

Great and beautiful remote location to find some peace and quiet in the Schwarzwald!

The stay here was exactly what was expected! A beautiful, clean space that had all the comforts. Despite having some rainy days, we were able to stay in this cottage just fine! This is definitely recommended!

We really enjoyed staying at this beautifully designed apartment. We especially liked that there is a lot of nature all around and the apartment is so harmoniously designed. There was everything we needed in terms of amenities. The garden with various corners where you can make yourself comfortable is also great.

Extraordinary apartment, bright, clean and with all the essentials. The environment is peaceful and the terrace is very popular. Elena was very flexible and had good tips. I would definitely recommend this listing and would love to go back. Thank you so much!

As we had to replan our originally planned journey on short notice, Daniel and Jessica were extremely accommodative in letting us rent their place. The accommodation is well equipped, the kitchen and bathroom being kitted out with clean and new furniture. You will ideally need a car to get to points of interest nearby such as Strassburg, Freiburg, Rust and the Black Forest.
