House was beautiful! Only “complaint” is for those sensitive to the light: there are no black out curtains provided. It’s worse in the front room because the flood/spot light by the garage is motion activated and turns on every five seconds, shining right into the room. Other than that: everything was amazing

We loved our stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. James was a responsive and helpful host. We experienced a minor kitchen drain issue, but with it being a holiday weekend, he stayed in touch and we found an easy workaround—it didn’t impact our plans at all. We spent a relaxing weekend lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful space. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

Had a great weekend with a full house! Easily accommodated the 9 of us and the pool was fantastic. Less than 10 mins from downtown as well, very accessible. Would stay again!

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

Oh my goodness, Burning Creek was a dream! From 15 to 73, we all loved it. It was the perfect place to celebrate not one, but two birthdays! (Our family of 6 included 3 generations, and mom and son share a birthday.) It was also the perfect location to visit Texas Tubes for tubing, Wimberly for a romantic anniversary dinner, and the outlet mall. We loved our starlit swims and late night chats by the beautiful pool. We hope to come back soon!

The house was exactly as pictured and the pool and hot tub were amazing! One thing I would note is there is a rooster nearby that starts crowing every morning around 5:30 and it can be heard very loudly from the largest bedroom downstairs. We would definitely still rent again, but I recommend bringing earplugs if you’re sensitive sleepers as we are. But the house was immaculate and had everything we needed!

This home was stunning! The house was HUGE. Our large group fit very comfortably. The pool was great and the lot itself was beautiful and very relaxing. We enjoyed being in nature and seeing the wildlife, but it was also very close to town. Pictures do not do it justice! We had everything we needed to cook and felt right at home. We will definitely try staying again!

This place was absolutely top-notch! From the moment we arrived, it felt like home—clean, beautifully organized, and welcoming. The pool was spotless and perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of the highlights was the Green Egg grill on the premises, we had a great time barbecuing and enjoying the outdoor space. Check-in and check-out were seamless, which made everything stress-free. Overall, this stay truly enhanced our trip. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

I had such a beautiful stay here. The property was exactly what I needed. A peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The house was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, but the highlight was definitely the large pool and the acres of open land. It felt private, spacious, and so serene. Whether you’re looking to relax in the sun, take a quiet walk, or just unplug for a bit, this place is perfect. I left feeling refreshed and grounded. Highly recommend!

We stayed a week at the river hollow retreat. We got lucky recent rains had the river over a two feet high in most places the fist couple of days. The property was beautiful and if you want peace and seclusion with no other people in site this is a great option. We had a 5 yo boy and a dog and never did we worry about where they went in the river. The location is great close to anything you may need but far enough away from kerrville to feel you are in total seclusion. The hosts were great and very tentative to your needs if they arise. My family will go back to the river hollow retreat.

The house was very pretty and clean. The pictures lived up to its expectations. The owner was very responsive and truly helpful. Would definitely recommend! Plus close to Main Street.

We rented Alan‘s place for a family getaway. We were a crew of eight, two middle aged adults and six college age kids. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out when they wanted privacy, and amazing common areas for us to get together when we wanted. The decor of the house and the outdoor layout allows you to experience nature and the best of family bonding. Amazingly within walkable access just down from a gravel road on the property there is a deep swimming hole, rope swing, and a little waterfall that still has lots of water even though the Medina river has gone through hard times lately. So one can still get to spend time in the river. The town is pretty adorable too. We went to the Bandera Riding on Faith rodeo Friday night and really got to experience a bit of cowboy culture. There are lots of places to shop eat drink in the downtown area and everyone is really friendly. Lastly, Alan was great at communication and was always in touch if we needed.

We had an incredible weekend stay at this beautiful home in Wimberley! The home was spacious and modern, with more than enough room to comfortably accommodate our group of 16. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed—from the expansive deck and inviting living room to the large yard filled with games that both kids and adults enjoyed. The pool and hot tub were definite highlights and made for a perfect way to unwind after exploring the area. We also loved how close we were to downtown Wimberley and all the great local attractions—it struck the perfect balance between feeling secluded and still being convenient. This property exceeded our expectations in every way. We’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing group getaway, and we’re already talking about coming back again!

1. the house was fantastic. looked just like the pictures, lots of room, very CLEAN, and the back porch was perfect for relaxing. Covered parking for those hot summer days++++ 2. So close to great restaurants, and winerys. Some shops, but great shopping in towns near by. 3. Pedernales falls state park is 15 minutes away. Great river to soak in. The little ones and dogs would love it. Our yorkie did. Well worth staying at.

We had 13 guests total, and there was enough space for all of us. The house, guest house and Casita were all cozy and well decorated. There were plenty of linens and towels for everyone. Check in was easy and the property was just as described. It's private and serene. This is a country house, so expect to drive down a bit of dirt road, and you will get a few critters. The house is about 10 minutes from town and 5-10 minutes from the wineries and breweries. We had no problem calling an Uber to transport us into town. We all loved the layout so much we are thinking of coming back in the winter for my husband's Birthday.

This was a great place to stay for our family of 7 (could have easily accommodated 9). There was a lot of seating and spacious rooms and a kitchen. The location was about 15-20 min to town. Some small critters here and there but that’s to be expected given the location.

This vacation home was everything we wanted and more! My friends and I truly enjoyed every single thing. Will 100% book this again next year!
