Perfect property for our family gathering. Location on the lake was great for boating and jet skis, as well as a nice shallow area for the kids to play. The house was clean and just as described in the listing. Hosts, Jessica and John, were always available when I had questions and very responsive. Would definitely book again!

This is a gem of a place to rent. It is perfect for a family get together with adult children. Lots to do and stunning views. The house was beautiful and had an open concept. Sitting on the porch and drinking coffee was so relaxing each morning.

We had an amazing stay! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the house was warm, welcoming, and very comfortable. Darrick and Brittany were kind and communicative hosts, and everything was just as described. The highlight for us was definitely the pool and hot tub—so relaxing and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our weekend and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

Incredible stay at Skip’s lake house with plenty of room for a family of 10 and with lots to do and then some! The home was spotless when we arrived, the numerous amenities were just as described, and everything was very comfortable with clear instructions throughout the property. I believe the pool is salt water and very enjoyable. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here for a girls trip and we couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved this place the whole time! The home itself is extremely well done - functional & aesthetic. The backyard is the real standout - the pool, the view, the privacy, all 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful. The linens in the beds were clean and comfortable! Bathrooms had all enmities. House is very spacious for a big family and friends. Kids had plenty of room to run around outside and inside. The river in the back was very nice. It's not a great place to swim due to the stinky mud that smells if it's irritated. We did enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards though. We caught a good amount of fish and enjoyed watching the turtles. This is our second time there and probably not our last.

Spacious, modern and impressive. Our family of 10 enjoyed a relaxing extended weekend trip together in Paradise. The pool and fishing were our main activities. It was nice that beach towels were provided and the pool area was well maintained. There was a small issue with the lift at the boat house that was addressed immediately by MN. She was responsive to any request we had during our stay. We never used the spa due to temperatures outside being quite warm. We enjoyed playing games on the large dining table and cooking meals in the well equipped kitchen. Overall, we will return if able in the future.

This house was exactly what we needed for our family getaway! With 6 adults and a grandbaby, this place was great for hanging out…especially the screened in porch! The property managers were friendly and not a problem at all to have nearby! Also, the yard and surroundings are beautiful and definitely lived up to the pictures. We did a small vow renewal in the backyard and it was beautiful. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay at The Acadia House was wonderful, the property is beautiful backing up to a creek which held its own treasures. The house has ample room inside with old school charm with touches of Louisiana flair. The area that most attracted me to this house and where we spent the most time was the back patio. (Great spot for pictures)The screened in cabana is perfect for grilling or an evening game of cards. The host was super responsive and accommodating to our needs.

Our family really enjoyed our beach vacation at Mermaid Manor. Shannon was an excellent host. Always responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The beach was wonderful and so relaxing. Highly recommend.

This home felt like a relaxing resort! The property was gorgeous and it was the perfect set up for larger groups. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the property and conversing in the living space. All the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels to go around. We would definitely stay here again!

Can’t express how perfect this trip was for my family and I. Was looking for something close by where we could bring our boat and not have to go back and forth from the ramp - this is spot on exactly what we were looking for. Host was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was nothing short of WONDERFUL. Boat ramp is a short walk from the house (on property) and we caught more fish off the dock than we did off the boat. Will 1000% be back in the near future. Thanks for everything Leslie!

We had a wonderful stay, plenty of great amenities. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the rain the first night we were there, and we loved all of the outdoor spaces! Beautiful property!

Love love love it! The best experience we have had. Much more than the pictures. Home away from home. Kitchen is fully loaded so easy to make big family meals. Tons for everyone to do. Bikes, games/sports, swimming, fishing, paddle boarding. Would definitely rent the pontoon and jet ski again. Cozy beds, super clean, plenty of spots for everyone to sleep. We will be back.

The home was great, nice and cozy and the kids enjoyed the pool and games! Paula had all of the necessary amenities that we needed to enjoy our stay! Paula communicated with us the whole time and the instructions were on point checking in and checking out! I would definitely book with her again!

Jaimee’s rental property was exactly what our family needed for a vacation. Perfect game room, play area and pool for families with kids. Minor issues came up during the stay and Jaimee met our needs quickly. Our parents are elderly and have difficulty getting around but this property made it accessible for all things needed on the first floor. Our only concern was that in pictures it appears that the yard is more level/flat getting down to the dock but it has a much steeper slope. Our dad gets around primarily on scooter and it was too steep for him to ride down to fish. Certainly not a complaint, but something to be aware of in the event mobility issues are an issue for guests headed out to the dock. Otherwise we loved our stay and made great memories as a family!

I had a blast celebrating my birthday here. The pool was amazing and the views were spectacular. Not a far drive from DFW but enough to be out in nature. The house was clean, comfy beds and a great kitchen and dining table to entertain. Pick this place!!!!

We truly enjoyed this location, close for a walk on the beach and a joy to walk downtown.

Daniel was very accommodating, especially when we arrived early and let us check in early. His home is very entertaining and spacious. We enjoyed the pool, air hockey and large kitchen table for games.

We absolutely loved this place! The space was BEAUTIFULLY decorated and everything was clean! It was a great space for our crowd. They were very accommodating for our extra guests. The pool was great!! They communicated well and were very responsive and quick! The location is in a neighborhood but the houses are spaced so you felt like you had space!

Jennifer went above and beyond for us! She was always checking in and responded quickly when I needed to ask a question. The house was a dream! We will definitely be back! Great for kids!

We had a wonderful weekend. It’s a great place to get away and enjoy nature (and watching some cows….in a good way!). The pool was clean and a great activity for the kids! We will be back!
