House vacation rentals in Folkestone & Hythe District

This is the second time we have stayed at Corrina’s holiday home and once again we found it to be squeaky clean, very well equipped, peaceful and a great location. The garden is home to a family of foxes, who were so confident, that they sunbathed on the lawn whilst we were sitting on the veranda. Corrina made us aware of check in details in very good time and left a number just in case we needed assistance, which I’m happy to say we didn’t need. The surrounding area is so lush and green, this time of year, and there is always plenty of interesting things to do nearby. We will visit again next year, but hopefully for longer this time. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again. The space was clean, warm and very spacious up and downstairs. The design and decor was on another level. We couldn’t get over the beautiful chandelier. We were greeted with fruits and milk on arrival in the large kitchen. Ahead of our journey we were given clear directions to the property. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for the sauna, pool etc. We used the sauna daily. It’s was huge and looked brand new. We were be able to watch the kids swim in the pool from the sauna. The kids absolutely loved the pool and took every opportunity day and night to swim. It really was a bonus to have our own pool. 5 of us stayed for a week and there was enough space in the fridge and freezer for all of our food. I have already recommended the space to my friends.

We had a wonderful (albeit brief) stay at Jane’s beautiful home! The space was spotless, stylish, and so comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was a real highlight, and we’re already looking forward to coming back and making the most of it next time. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to personal reasons, but Jane was incredibly understanding and kind about our situation. She was a fantastic host throughout—thoughtful, responsive, and welcoming. A special thank you for the delicious-looking marmalade waiting for us on arrival! We can’t wait to enjoy it at breakfast. Highly recommend Jane’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely escape. We hope to return soon!

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

Great accommodation! Clean and spacious. Everything has been thought about. Quick response to communication and very easy check in and check out.

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

Ursula went to great lengths to ensure we had everything we needed .. lots of supplies in kitchen and bathroom.. she literally thought of everything. Very comfortable in every way .. modern kitchen to cater for every need … lovely bedrooms with black out blinds, lovely linen and comfy beds … best Air b&b I have stayed in

We stopped over at Kates place before we took the Shuttle over to France and it was perfect. The house is super comfy, clean, very sweet, and Mersham is a lovely village. The house is practically next to the pub, which served good beers and very decent food and the staff were great. Kate also let us know about the new cafe (along with lots of other pieces of info and helpful recommemdations) - which was ideal for breakfast. Everything was so easy. Would have happily stayed longer and definitely would stay again!

Second year staying at this beautiful little home. Perfect for all our needs and always a lovely warm welcome. Peaceful and lovely surroundings and the chicken and goats always a child pleaser.

The flat was lovely and up to date. We felt like we were staying in a friends home. It was super-convenient for Waitrose and the High Street as well as Ladies Walk down to the beach. We also enjoyed the garden out back. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. We stayed for a week and will be back!!

We had a great stay at Anna's house in Folkestone. Its in a really quiet street, but ideally placed for the beach and town. The house had everything we needed, is stylishly decorated and really comfortable.

A lovely charming house, extremely well thought for a rental, premium service in all bedrooms. The four bedrooms allow to have 2 families comfortably installed. Would definitely recommend

This was a great place to stay, with Marie kindly supplying all the key essentials and some nice touches (milk and drinks) which were appreciated. There was excellent communication with the hosts who checked we had everything we needed but were not intrusive in any way. The accommodation was great: the bed was large and comfortable with an array of pillow and cushions. The kitchen was well equipped with a wide range of appliances to suit people’s needs and there was ample parking on the front. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there.

I had a great stay at Kelly's house and in fact extended by an extra two days!! Very comfortable house and very warm which was handy as the weather was very cold!! All the furniture was comfortable especially the bed and I slept really well I would definitely stay here again when I am next in the area!!

This is a lovely property with many original features but tastefully updated and welcoming. Our daughter and family stayed for Christmas week and were bowled over with the property and our 3 Yr old granddaughter christened it her Cosy House which describes it perfectly. It is located in the centre of Saltwood village and is ideal for a couple with two small children. One of the nicest AirBnB we have used. Will definitely use again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay in Ashford. The house is absolutely beautifully done and had everything we needed for a comfortable two day break away from London. We were not far from the places we wanted to visit. The children loved the bedrooms and the beds are so comfortable aswell . I actually loved there only being one TV in the lounge, this meant the kids joined us downstairs and we played games in the evenings together. Also the no eating / drinking upstairs rule was great, we enjoyed meals together at the table and good way of there being less mess to tidy up! Sabina was an incredible host and made our stay a truly lovely one to remember. We would love to come back to Ashford again one day , Sabina made the place feel like home from home 🥰🥰

We had a great stay at Harts Cottage. When we saw the weather wasn’t going to be great, I asked Belinda if the property had any games, when we arrived we were greeted with a lovely selection. Very comfy beds. Beautiful bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen (everything needed to make a Sunday roast). Secure parking. Lovely garden. Couldn’t recommend more.

Family multi-generation stay. We loved the house which was very tastefully furnished and decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the lounge had plenty of comfortable seating for 8 adults including a lovely window seat. The kitchen -diner is very bright and airy and has all the amenities you could need. The outside seating area is a lovely place for everyone to sit and relax even when there is light rain as it is covered this also provides shade on sunny days. The garden is very secure for children and dogs. Both the inside and outside of the property were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The house is situated in a pretty cul de sac with a green at the front of the house and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend Springhaven.

Beach Haven felt like a home. It is a great location looking out to the sea. We know Hythe well and felt lucky to be able to share Beach Haven with our French friends. It is very well equipped.

Fabulous home. 9 of us stayed and it was a great home with everything you need. Very well equipped, really clean, lovely bedrooms, spacious and all laid out well. Host was excellent and very good at communicating Highly recommend - superb value for money

Wild Cottage is a little gem. Hayley's attention to detail is extraordinary. It felt like she really cared about us and wanted us to have the best holiday we could. Wild Cottage wrapped itself around us and made us feel comfortable, relaxed, safe and special. All of this was so important to all of us but especially my granddaughter who gets anxious in new environments, she felt at home straight away and loved that she had been thought about by Hayley. In fact both of our granddaughters loved that. We , the adults, also loved those very personal touches that made our celebrations for our Ruby wedding anniversary, my 60th birthday, our son and daughter in laws 10th wedding anniversary , extra special. We would recommend Wild Cottage to anyone. Hayley has created a real haven.

It’s so hard to know where to start! Channel View is a stunning property in an amazing location. Being last house off the main road through the Dungeness Estate and thanks to the amazing design of the property we had uninterrupted views of the coast through numerous large windows. Dungeness is a fairly quirky place with some eclectic properties but so worth a visit. Channel View was a great base. The house has been so well designed with so many taking points - the small kitchen window providing another viewing point; the porthole bedroom windows with its special cushion which acts as a blind; the positioning of the bedroom window so the lighthouse isn’t disturbing; the retro sofa and of course the central railway carriage around which the property is built. We didn’t want to leave and I hope we can return in the not too distant future.
